Chapter 7 - Chapter 07

After getting information from the pack members, Ace went straight to the Shadow pack headquarters. Sure enough, there the vampires were fighting with Ace's pack members, which was why Ace looked so angry.

"Hey! How dare vampires come to Pack Shadow!" Ace shouted loudly, stopping the fight.

They stopped, gazes fixed on Ace, especially the vampire prince named Edward, the eternal enemy of werewolves. They had never gotten along and had fought several wars.

"Hello, Ace, long time no see," Edward said with an annoying smile.

Of course Ace was enraged; he clenched his fists, approaching Edward intending to beat him up. But Stella held Ace back; she didn't want another war to happen and cause many casualties.

Stella looked at Ace and said, "Ace, let's not have another fight. We can ask Edward first what he wants."

After a moment of thought, Ace finally listened to Stella. Ace walked over to Edward, standing in front of him as he said, "Tell me clearly what your goal is this time!"

"Relax, Ace. I'm not here to mess with you or any other werewolf. We're just here to find the girl with the holy blood," Edward explained at length.

They were all surprised and confused by Edward's words: holy blood? Even Ace himself wasn't sure if there was anyone with that special blood on this earth. Ace frowned; of course he didn't believe it. After all, what could be trusted from liars and rebels like those vampires?

"Tsk, are you out of your mind? What are you saying? Even I'm not sure anyone still has holy blood after thousands of years," Ace said with a dismissive look; he chuckled as the other werewolves followed.

That annoyed Edward; he pushed Ace's shoulder lightly and then said, "Can't you realize that? The owner of that holy blood is the mate you just found."

Ace's eyes bulged at that; how could that be? Why couldn't Ace feel it? Ace kept wondering in his mind. Ace dismissed Edward's hand roughly.

"My mate, what do you want to do?" Ace asked again with his hands already clenched in emotion.

Meanwhile, Stella smiled. "Interesting, if that's true. I can separate Ace from that woman through..." Stella stopped her words for a moment, looking at Edward with a lopsided smile. Then she said, "Edward."

"Just be ready; protect your mate if you don't want anything to happen later. Of course I want that woman," Edward said with emphasis, as if he had prepared everything.

After saying that, Edward and the vampires simply left. Leaving Edward still confused, how did the vampires know that Chelsea had holy blood?

"Why did Edward only discover the sacred blood in Chelsea's body?" muttered Ace, still having many questions in his mind.

"Because you have claimed Chelsea as a mate, so the vampires can smell the scent of the sacred blood now, you automatically made Chelsea connected to other immortal beings," explained Stella with her hands folded over her chest.

Ace thought hard; it was true what Stella said. All this time maybe Chelsea had never met an immortal being, so she was safe. But now Ace had claimed Chelsea as his mate, so he had to accept all the risks. Only Ace could protect Chelsea from the vampire.

"Damn it, I have to find Chelsea!" Ace disappeared at lightning speed to search for his wife's whereabouts. Leaving Stella grumbling angrily in her place.

Meanwhile, the girl Ace was looking for was now walking through the streets alone. I don't know what Chelsea was doing this morning.

"Where else should I look for Jack?" Chelsea said with a sigh that sounded resigned. No, she didn't give up. Chelsea continued to visit Jack's usual place; she had even asked all of Jack's friends and friends. But no one knew the man's whereabouts.

"Huhhh, do I have to be forever with a man I don't love, god?" Chelsea shouted like a crazy person on the street, not caring about the many eyes looking at her.

Tin... Tin...

Aletta, who was in front, was startled by a car that suddenly stopped in front of her. At first, Chelsea was afraid that it was Ace. But after the owner of the car lowered the windshield, Chelsea could only breathe a sigh of relief.

"Chelsea! Where are you going?"

"Oh my God, Olivia! I'm shocked!" Chelsea growled, then she got into her best friend's car without permission. Yeah, Olivia was Chelsea's best friend from childhood; they had always been together.

"Chelsea, I miss you. I'm sorry I couldn't come to your wedding." Olivia immediately hugged Chelsea tightly. It had been a long time since Olivia met Chelsea, because she had to go somewhere a few days ago.

Chelsea was silent, not knowing why the clear liquid returned to her eyes when she remembered her wedding yesterday. "It's a good thing you didn't come that time; I'm sorry," she said with a sullen tone.

Olivia let out a long sigh; she already knew everything from Monica, who told her. Olivia wiped Chelsea's tears. "I already know everything; I can't say anything but be patient. After all, Ace is good, so what's wrong with accepting him?" She said it wisely.

Olivia's words just now managed to make Chelsea snort in annoyance, her eyes looking sharply at her best friend. "Well, how do you know? I'm willing to accept Ace, but only if Jack really doesn't come back and really leaves me."

"You're crazy; don't you feel sorry for Ace?"

"I don't care; instead of you talking so much, you better accompany me."

"Where to?"

"To find Jack."
