SCENE START

INT. CONCERT VENUE - NIGHT (2025)

A deafening roar fills the stadium. The camera pans across a sea of screaming fans, each one holding a glowing "light stick" that creates a surreal, pulsating galaxy. On the main stage, the five members of the boy group A-STAR stand silhouetted against a burst of pyrotechnics. The cheers are immense, a wave of adoration for their heroes.

The main lead, LEE HYUN-WOO (30), steps forward. He's dressed in an extravagant, sparkling black suit, his hair perfectly styled. His expression is one of pure, unbridled charisma. He closes his eyes for a moment, letting the wave of sound wash over him.

HYUN-WOO
> (V.O.) > This was it. The pinnacle. The dream I had been chasing for twenty years. The moment I felt like I truly existed.

The group performs their hit song, "Supernova." Hyun-woo's movements are sharp, practiced, and full of effortless power. He makes direct eye contact with the camera, and the girls in the front row shriek. During the dance break, the other members—JI-HOON, SUNG-MIN, CHUL, and JAE-HYUN—form a circle around him, their synchronized moves a testament to their years of relentless training.

JI-HOON
> (To Hyun-woo, smiling) > We did it, man. This is crazy.

HYUN-WOO
> (Smiling back) > The world is ours tonight.

After their performance, A-STAR gathers at the front of the stage. The fans are still screaming, holding up banners with each member's name. A banner with Hyun-woo's face is visible in the crowd, a testament to his immense popularity.

INT. AGENCY HEADQUARTERS - DAY (2025)

The once-vibrant agency building is now a scene of chaos. Staff members are frantically making calls. The CEO, a cold and unfeeling man, is watching a news report on a large monitor.

The headline blazes across the screen: A-STAR'S LEE HYUN-WOO CAUGHT IN FABRICATED SCANDAL. A former trainee, SEO JI-AH, is giving an interview, her tearful expression a stark contrast to her fabricated words.

Hyun-woo enters, his face pale and his suit from the night before looking rumpled. He rushes to the CEO's desk.

HYUN-WOO
> Sir, it's not true. None of it. The police report... I can prove it.

The CEO doesn't look at him.

AGENCY CEO
> (Monotone) > The public doesn't care about a police report. They care about a good story. And hers is a bestseller.

Hyun-woo's phone buzzes relentlessly in his pocket. He pulls it out, and the screen is filled with a torrent of hateful comments on his social media. "You're a liar," "Go away," "We want A-Star to disband."

HYUN-WOO
> This is a misunderstanding. Please... just give me a chance to explain.

AGENCY CEO
> (Scoffs) > A-Star's contract is terminated, effective immediately. And so is yours. You're a liability.

Hyun-woo stares at him, stunned, as if the words have physically hit him. The world he built is collapsing.

INT. A CHEAP APARTMENT - DAY (2026)

A year later. The apartment is small, cluttered with take-out containers and dirty clothes. Hyun-woo, now 31, is a ghost of his former self. He wears a plain hoodie and sweatpants. His face is gaunt, and his eyes are filled with a deep exhaustion. He sits in front of a laptop, scrolling through job postings. Each rejection email feels like a punch to the gut.

He gets up and walks to the kitchen, opening a nearly empty refrigerator. He pulls out a half-empty bottle of water.

HYUN-WOO
> (V.O.) > My agency, my friends, my bandmates... they all disappeared. The fame, the money... gone. I was just a ghost, haunted by the memory of who I used to be.

He stares at his reflection in the dark window. He sees a desperate, defeated man, a far cry from the confident idol on stage.

EXT. CROWDED STREET - DAY (2026)

Hyun-woo is walking down a busy street, his hood pulled up low. He keeps his head down, but a group of students recognizes him and points.

STUDENT 1
> Look, isn't that him? Lee Hyun-woo?

STUDENT 2
> Wow, he looks so bad. I can't believe I used to be a fan.

STUDENT 3
> He's disgusting. He doesn't deserve to show his face.

Hyun-woo quickens his pace, trying to ignore them. The words feel like a physical weight on his shoulders. He finally reaches a crosswalk, waiting for the light to change. His mind drifts back to the concert, the adoring crowds, the easy smile on his face.

He hears the screech of tires. He looks up just as a large truck comes barreling through the intersection, its horn blaring. The lights are blinding. Time seems to slow down.

HYUN-WOO
> (V.O.) > In that split second, I saw it all. The stage, the cheers, the hateful comments, my parents... their new families... a life that felt like it was over before it ever really began.

He closes his eyes.

HYUN-WOO
> (Whispering to himself) > I don't want to die like this. I don't want to lose everything again. Please, I just want... a second chance.

FADE TO BLACK.

INT. HIGH SCHOOL CLASSROOM - DAY (2013)

Sunlight streams through a window, falling on a desk. A young boy's head is down, asleep. The sounds of a busy high school classroom slowly come into focus. Pencils scratching, a teacher speaking, students whispering.

The boy, HYUN-WOO (18), his face now smooth and young, slowly raises his head. He blinks, confused. He looks at his hands, which are smaller, unlined, and free of calluses from years of dancing.

He looks around the classroom, his eyes wide. He sees students in school uniforms, a teacher writing on a whiteboard, and a dusty blackboard covered in math equations. A girl with a bright smile looks at him from the desk next to his.

JISOO
> (Smiling) > Hey, you okay? You were out cold.

He stares at her, a wave of memories of the future crashing over him. He remembers her name, her face, her future fame.

HYUN-WOO
> (Muttering) > What... what is this?

He gets up, running to the window. He looks out, seeing the high school grounds, the familiar, old buildings he thought he had forgotten. He pulls out his phone. The screen shows the date: September 9, 2013.

A wave of emotion hits him. The joy, the shock, the realization. He clenches his fists, a tear running down his cheek. He is back.
