INT. MUSIC ACADEMY OFFICE - DAY
Hyun-woo stands in a spotless office. An A&R manager from a prestigious entertainment company, MANAGER PARK, sits behind a large desk. He is a middle-aged man with sharp eyes.
MANAGER PARK (Smiling) Your performance at the showcase... it was different. You have a rawness that can't be taught. We're offering you a contract.
Hyun-woo's heart races. This is the same company, the same office. He's standing in the same place where he once signed a contract that changed his life for the better and worse.
HYUN-WOO Thank you, sir. I... I'm honored.
MANAGER PARK (Hands him a folder) This is a standard trainee contract. Read it over. We can begin your training immediately.
Hyun-woo takes the folder, his hands trembling. The dream he lost is now within his grasp again.

INT. ACADEMY HALLWAY - LATER
Hyun-woo is walking down the hall, the contract folder in his hand. He passes by a group of trainees, including MIN-JUN. Min-jun looks at him with a mix of surprise and resentment.
MIN-JUN (Snidely) Looks like you got lucky.
HYUN-WOO (Calmly) It's not luck. It's hard work.
MIN-JUN (Laughs) Don't get too ahead of yourself. Being signed is easy. Debuting is the hard part.
Just then, a scout from a small, unheard-of company walks up to Min-jun.
SCOUT Min-jun? I'm from Nova Entertainment. We're looking for a leader for our new boy group. We were impressed with your showcase.
Min-jun's eyes light up. He smirks at Hyun-woo.
MIN-JUN (To Hyun-woo) Looks like we're both on a new path. But mine is going to be faster. I'll debut before you. And I'll be the one to watch.
Hyun-woo says nothing. He simply walks away, a quiet confidence in his stride. He knows the road ahead is long and difficult.

EXT. ACADEMY ENTRANCE - NIGHT
Hyun-woo stands outside the academy, looking at the contract folder. He thinks about all the years of training, the emotional toll, and the loneliness. He knows this path is not an easy one, but he's ready.
He walks home alone, the contract heavy in his hands. He looks up at the moon. He thinks about his grandparents, his quiet, simple life, and the secret he's now keeping from them. The second melody is just beginning, but he knows he's going to have to make a choice.
