Kirana plays with her friends, Kemala, Sari, Dewi, Ismail, Jaka, and a Dutch girl named Angelika. She is older than Kirana, she has Blonde hair and green eyes, she is beautiful and probably the nicest Dutch girl she has ever seen, even her parents are also kind to pribumi.
"You've spent so much time with that Dutch boy. What's his name?" Asked Kemala. She frowned slightly.
"Werner. My mother works in her family home, and i often help my mother; that's why i play with him so often." Kirana said
"Why didn't you introduce him to us? Is he like any other Dutch people?" Dewi said. "But wait! Angelika, she's the sweetest Dutch i've ever seen." Dewi hugged Angelika, and Angelika just giggled. She hugged her back.
"I'm not sure about that, but he's kind," said Kirana. "I'll introduce him someday."
"Uh, do you know a boy who is really close to Werner?" asked Angelika.
"Who?"
"I don't know his name." Angelika said. "But i see him several times. We're in the same school, but he doesn't notice him."
"He has one close friend named Ruben." Kirana said.
"Oh, maybe it's him! So, his name is Ruben? Cool!" Angelika said.
They began to tease her. Dutch x Dutch are a perfect match. People will not judge them.
Jaka secretly has a crush on Angelika, but he knows he doesn't deserve Angelika. Ismail looked at him, he was the only one who knew about it.
Kirana at Van Den Bosch's house. She put flowers in the vase and took it to the living room.
Werner and Tobias had just returned from school. Tobias walked to his bedroom, while Werner walked towards Kirana.
"The flowers look beautiful, do you grow them yourself?" asked Werner
"It's not me, it's my mother. She loves flowers, so she plants so many flowers." Kirana replied.
Werner began to talk about his day at school, how his teachers, and how the teachers kept giving them assignments. Kirana just laughed.
"When you're older, what do you want to become?" asked Werner
"I don't know. I didn't go to school, but maybe i wanted to be a florist! What about you?" asked Kirana.
"I don't know, maybe an architect?"
"That's so cool!" Kirana smiles.
"Really? Is this cool? I'm glad you think that way."

Werner and Kirana were reading a book in the living room. Werner's parents let Kirana play with him in their house. Werner teaches her and even gives her books. Kirana is surprisingly quite smart, she always learns it from Angelika, and her mother also teaches her.
"I'm bored," said Werner, "can we do something?"
"Do what?" Kirana looks at Werner.
"Can we get out? Go to the lake or the rice fields?"
"Um, okay."
Kirana and Werner get up. Werner walks towards Joko. "Tell mother i'm going with Kirana." Werner said. Joko just nodded his head.
They went to the rice fields. There are so many people working there. Also, there is a large buffalo.
"That's huge!" Werner walked closer to the buffalo. "Is he wild?" He asked her.
One of the farmers talked. "No, he's good."
Werner stroked the buffalo. Ismail walked closer. He was there because he was helping his parents, Ismail's parents a farmers.
"Kirana!" Ismail is calling her.
Kirana smiled at him, "Hi, Ismail! This is Ismail, my friend. His parents work there." Kirana said to Werner.
"Ismail," Ismail said, he smiled at Werner. However, Werner just looked at him with an indifferent look. But Ismail still smiled.
"Werner." Werner said. "Can we go somewhere else?" Werner looks at Kirana.
"Why?" Kirana looks confused.
"It's very hot there," Werner said. Werner looked very annoyed. He looked at Ismail with a sharp gaze. He exhaled roughly, his patience was running thin. if only he couldn't help it, he might have dragged Kirana away from there. "Ugh."
Kirana just nodded. She knew that Warner was very upset, so she said goodbye to Ismail and waved to him. Ismail waved to him as well. They walked to a nearby lake.
"I don't like you talking to him," Warner said in an annoyed tone. He tried to hold back his annoyance so as not to cause an argument against Kirana; he wasn't in the mood to fight right now.
"Why? He's my friend." Kirana is confused about Werner; she is always jealous of the little things. But Kirana thought her possessive attitude was funny, so she laughed a little.
"He's annoying. I don't want him to annoy you." Werner rolled his eyes.
"Why are you saying that? He's my best friend. He never bothered me." Kirana stared confusedly at Werner. As far as she knew, Ismail didn't bother her, and Ismail was friendly to Werner, but why did Werner seem to hate him so much? Was it because he was pribumi? No, Werner is not that kind of person, he didn't hate people just because of their ethnicity.
Werner just took a deep breath, "whatever. I just don't like it."
"Why? He's a good friend, and he's kind towards you. You two can be good friends."
"I said I didn't like it, and no, we can't be good friends." Werner looked really upset; he sulked.
Kirana is just quiet, doesn't want to talk about it again. She decided to take flowers and grass, making bracelets out of them. She put a bracelet to his hand.
"How did you make it?" asked Werner. Werner looks fascinated.
"I can teach you if you want." Kirana taught him how to do it. Werner made the bracelet, a bit messy but he's proud of his effort. He put the bracelet to her hand.
"You're not angry anymore?" asked Kirana.
"No, I don't." Werner smiled at her. "But, don't play with him again"
"But, he's also my friend, and i can't just play with you. I have other friends."
"No! You shouldn't play with someone like him."
"Don't be like that. Ismail is kind." Kirana said. She touches Werner's arm.
Werner was sulking and didn't answer her, but he let her to touch his arm.
A few months later. Kirana spends most of her time with Werner and... everything he wanted. She started studying with him as well, because sometimes her parents would pay for ..... and the teacher would come home. Kirana is still playing with her friends secretly.
Kirana is very fond of birds. She gave nuts to the birds. Werner watched her and would laugh at her. Werner decided to tell Joko to make a birdhouse, so that the birds would come every day to eat peanuts.
"Whoa," Kirana looked fascinated. The birdhouse was quite large, and there were so many birds that came and went to eat peanuts.
"They're cute." Werner said.
His parents were kind to her, and her mother, she felt she had to pay for it by doing everything Werner wanted and not offending him.
Tomorrow is Sari's birthday. She never knew when exactly her birthday would be, her parents forgot it, and they just chose a random month and day.
"Tomorrow, I want to go to my friend's house." Kirana said
"For what?"
"Tomorrow is her birthday. You can go with me if you want."
"No." Werner rolled his eyes
"Why not? Please, come with me. You can bring Ruben if you want."
Werner just rolled his eyes and nodded. "Fine, i will bring Ruben too. I will drag him if he doesn't want to go with me."
Kirana laughing. "Don't do it. What if Ruben is mad at you?"
"I don't care."
The next day, they went to Dewi's house, near the forest. They bring her a simple gift. Angelika was there, her eyes shining when she saw Ruben.
Angelika smiled at Ruben. "I'm Angelika, Angelika de Jong."
"Ruben Schouten." Ruben said.
Angelika nodded. She was shy. "You're really tall."
"Really? I thought my height was average." Ruben said.
"No, you're quite tall!"
"You're tall too. You're the tallest girl in here."
Angelika blushes. "Well, yeah, i'm the tallest one."
They talked and laughed, but Werner didn't enjoy their conversation
"Does your friend like Ruben?" Werner whispered to Kirana.
Kirana nods. "Yes." She's chuckling. "She has been asking about Ruben."
"No wonder you told me to bring Ruben too." Werner said.
"They look cute, right?"
"Not really."
Angelika continues to talk to Ruben, trying to get his attention. Angelika and Ruben became close after that day.
