Chapter 1 - Chapter 1 – Birth Under the Blood Moon

The night sky was split in crimson.

A blood moon loomed above, casting its eerie glow over the small village. Rain fell, but it was not water—it was thick, warm, and red as blood. The villagers gathered in silence, their faces pale as screams of childbirth echoed from a small wooden hut.

Inside, a baby's cry pierced the storm.

The elders of the village exchanged heavy whispers.

"…He is the one, isn't he?" one elder muttered, his voice trembling.

"No," another hissed. "This child will bring only ruin drenched in blood."

A third elder's eyes narrowed, his voice sharp like a blade:

"This boy cannot live among us. Leave him in the forest to die."

Before the others could agree, the door creaked open. A tall man, his presence like a shadow of steel, stepped into the room. Drawn by the sound of the infant's cries, he looked upon the child lying in blood-soaked blankets.

The man's gaze softened.

"I will name you… Leo Fang."

Seven years later, the boy laughed as he sparred with the very same man—his father, a warrior whose name carried weight and fear across the lands.

"You can't beat me, son," his father smirked, effortlessly deflecting Leo's wooden blade.

Leo grinned, sweat dripping down his face. "One day, I will!"

Their laughter echoed through the fields, warm and full of life. Yet fate, as cruel as the blood moon itself, was already moving.

From the horizon came four figures—the Four Legends. They did not come for mercy. They did not come for peace.

They came for fear.

For vengeance.

The village trembled at their arrival. Whispers spread like fire—everyone knew Leo's father had once stood among legends himself, feared even by those who now approached.

Steel clashed. Flames rose.

By nightfall, the village was painted in blood.

Leo's father fought like a god, holding the Four Legends at bay. But even legends bleed. Even gods fall.

They struck him down. His mother, too, was slain before his eyes.

"Kill the boy as well," one legend spat, turning his blade toward the trembling child.

"Yes… end him before he becomes like his father," another agreed.

But then—something within Leo shattered.

Tears of grief burned away into rage. His eyes flared blue, glowing with an unnatural power.

The Legends froze.

"W-what… is he?"

Leo screamed, his small frame bursting with violent energy. He lunged forward with impossible strength, his hand striking true—tearing through one Legend's arm. Blood sprayed as the man howled, stumbling back.

The others rushed him, blades flashing. The ground cracked, the air trembled—Leo was no longer just a child. He was something more. Something terrifying.

By the time their combined assault drove him into the dirt, the Four Legends were left scarred, shaken, and afraid.

"Damn it… I thought he would kill us all," one muttered, clutching his wound.

"Leave him. He's as good as dead," another snarled.

Their footsteps faded into the night.

Leo lay broken, blood pooling around him, his blue eyes dimming.

And yet—he breathed.

From the shadows, a mysterious figure knelt beside him, hands glowing faintly with healing light.

"Rest, child," the stranger whispered. "Your story has only just begun…"
