Emrys entered the library, his eyes scanning the surroundings. He spotted Lina sitting with her friends near a desk, whispering and giggling amongst themselves. With a sinking feeling, Emrys realized that they had likely been waiting for him.
As he approached the group, Emrys braced himself for the taunts and insults that were about to come his way.
"Well, look who it is," one of Lina's friends sneered. "It's the Bronze grade loser",
Emrys forced a smile, trying to remain calm and confident despite the cruel words.
"I came here because you asked me to," he responded, his voice steady. "I'm ready to learn."
Lina and her friends erupted into laughter, finding his determination to be amusing.
"You don't belong here, Bronze boy," Lina said, her voice dripping with condescension. "This library is for those worthy of it, not for pathetic weaklings like you",
" What's the point of you inviting me here then?",
" I invited you here to humiliate you",
Emrys' heart sank as he realized the true intention behind Lina's invitation.
"You invited me here to humiliate me?" he asked, his voice tinged with disbelief.
Lina smirked, relishing in his discomfort.
"Of course I did," she replied with a cruel laugh. "It's amusing to watch someone like you, a Bronze grade, fumble around in a place like this. You're out of your league",
Emrys stood his ground, feeling the anger rising within him.
"It's not my fault I'm in Bronze grade," he said firmly. "Bronze grades are meant for beginners. Besides, I'm new in this academy." Lina's friends laughed louder, their mockery growing more intense.
"Trying your best? You're pathetic," one of them sneered. "It's obvious you'll never amount to anything, especially with a low grade like that."
Emrys clenched his fists, frustration written all over his face.
"You guys constantly mock me as if you were never Bronze grade students before," he said, his voice rising slightly. "We all start somewhere, and being Bronze grade isn't my fault."
Lina's friends looked momentarily taken aback by his retort, but quickly recovered, doubling down on their taunts.
Lina sneered at him, her words like a dagger.
"At least we aren't as weak as you," she repeated, her tone filled with mockery. "We've at least made it to higher grades. You'll still be stuck at Bronze forever, a pathetic little runt."
Her friends chortled in agreement, their laughter making Emrys feel even smaller and more inadequate,
Emrys felt a sense of helplessness wash over him.
"If I knew this whole thing would just be a mockery, I should have just declined your invitation and stayed away from here," he said, his voice tinged with disappointment.
Lina smirked at him, relishing in his misery.
"Oh, but where's the fun in that?" she taunted. "It's more enjoyable to watch you squirm and realize how inferior you are compared to us". Emrys, struggling to hold back his anger, spoke up again.
"Why not bully someone of your size?" he said, his eyes locking with Lina's. "Is it just too easy for you to pick on someone weaker than you? Do you only feel powerful when you're tormenting others?"
His words hit a nerve with Lina, her expression shifting from cocky to furious.
"How dare you speak to me like that, you weakling," she seethed, her voice filled with venom,
In the library, Lina's anger had reached a boiling point after Emrys's words. Her body began to tremble with rage, and her friends noticed her increasing agitation.
One of them quickly spoke up, their voice edged with urgency.
"You need to leave now, Emrys," Her friend said, gesturing for him to hurry. "You've pushed Lina far enough, and she's about to lose control",
Emrys froze in place, his eyes widening with shock at the sudden change in atmosphere. The air grew heavy and oppressive as Lina's voice suddenly took on a sinister tone.
"How dare you, low-grade, disrespect me?" the demonic voice echoed from within Lina, a menacing aura radiating off her.
Emrys took a step back, his fear now palpable. He could sense the immense power and danger that was emanating from Lina's body, and he knew that he was in grave danger,
Emrys' heart pounded in his chest as he stood there, paralyzed with terror. He could feel the demonic presence within Lina growing stronger, and he knew that he had to get away before it was too late.
"Run!!!" one of her friends yelled, their voice desperate and panicked. "Get out of here, now!!!"
" Lina, please listen to me. I want you to calm down", Zira one of her friends said,
" How dare you!!!!!!"Lina's demon yelled within. As the demonic presence within Lina grew more and more powerful, her friends quickly reacted, their faces twisted with fear and concentration.
They gathered together, quickly forming a protective shield with their magical abilities, creating a defensive barrier that surrounded Emrys.
"Stay behind us, Emrys," one of them said, their voice tense and strained. "We'll try to keep her contained until she regains control",
" I'm really scared right now", Emrys was shaking uncontrollably, tears streaming down his face as he stood behind Lina's friends, who were desperately trying to maintain the magical shield shielding him.
"If I had known this would happen, I never should have come to the library," Emrys sobbed, his voice barely above a whisper.
He felt scared, vulnerable, and utterly helpless as he watched the chaos unfold around him, the weight of his own foolishness weighing heavily on his shoulders,
Despite the shield protecting Emrys, he could still hear the demonic voice within Lina, and her words were filled with malice.
"I'm going to destroy you, low grade," she hissed, her voice low and menacing. "You dared to insult me, and now you'll pay the price."
Emrys trembled behind the shield, feeling the full force of Lina's anger and hatred directed towards him,
" Lina, if you could hear us please stop. You don't have to waste your energy on a low-grade like him. Please calm down", Nei pleaded, As Lina's rage reached its peak, she unleashed a powerful pulse of energy that shattered the shield protecting Emrys, sending her friends flying back and leaving him exposed and defenseless.
With a wicked smile, Lina advanced on Emrys, her eyes ablaze with anger and malice.
"Looks like I got you now, you weak little Bronze," she said, her voice dripping with disdain. "Now it's time for your punishment",
" Emrys, run!!!!!", her friends screamed,
