As Zura wandered through the moonlit night, a nagging feeling of anticipation and excitement filled her chest. Suddenly, she came to a halt as she felt a faint but undeniable presence of the chosen child nearby.
Zura's eyes widened, her breath catching in her throat. "I can sense...the child," she whispered to herself, her voice barely above a whisper. "He's close. I must find him...quickly."
As Zura moved silently through the decorated streets filled with Halloween decor, she kept her senses sharp, following the pull in her instincts that led her towards the chosen child. The festive atmosphere seemed jarring and out of place given her mission, but she pushed on, not wanting to waste a second in her quest. Zura's eyes darted around, her sharp senses taking in every detail as she searched for the chosen child among the eerie Halloween decorations. Her heart pounded with anticipation, knowing that her goal was near.
Dylan and Loku, two students from the prestigious Gold Grade of Lite Academy, wandered through the streets, their eyes scanning the surroundings for any signs of dark forces or evil that may be lurking.
Dylan, with his sharp focus and vigilance, kept a close watch for any anomalies, while Loku added an air of calm and supportiveness to their search. Despite the festive atmosphere of Halloween, the two students remained focused on their mission, determined to ensure the safety of the town's inhabitants.
Dylan closed his eyes, taking a deep breath before muttering an ancient spell under his breath. Meanwhile, Loku stood beside him, preparing to cast a protection spell to shield them from any potential threats.
As the spell finished, a faint glow enveloped Dylan and Loku, expanding their perception and ability to sense any supernatural presence nearby, making their search much easier. Loku then cast a powerful shield around them both, forming a protective veil that warded off any potential evil forces or negativity.
"Stay focused and alert," Loku warned, his voice calm yet vigilant. "We can't afford to let our guard down, even with the festivities around us."
With both of them protected and ready, Dylan and Loku continued their search, their heightened senses on high alert for any malicious aura that may lurk nearby.
The night breeze carried a chill, a gentle whisper, as Emrys and Rizo stood outside their home. Rizo, his voice rich with wisdom and warmth, began narrating ancient tales, passing on the legacy from one generation to another.
"Emrys," Rizo began, his gaze fixed on his son, "do you know the origin of Halloween?," Emrys's eyebrows furrowed in thought before he shook his head, curiosity flickering in his eyes.
"I don't, Dad," he responded with a hint of eagerness. "Can you please tell me?"
As Rizo continued narrating the history of Halloween to Emrys, their conversation was abruptly interrupted by a sudden disturbance in the atmosphere. Rizo's words trailed off as he tensed, sensing the unexpected presence of something malevolent nearby.
Zura, having followed her senses that directed her towards the chosen child, had arrived, and her presence sent a chill down Rizo's spine. He immediately shielded Emrys protectively, ready to defend his son from this unexpected threat.
Rizo, his protective instincts flaring, called out to his wife, Shina, with a loud voice. "Shina!" he exclaimed, his voice urgent. "Take Emrys inside, now!"
Shina, hearing the alarm in her husband's tone, quickly emerged from the house, her expression filled with immediate worry. Understanding the urgency of the situation, she swiftly held Emrys tightly and hurried inside the house,
Rizo stood firmly, his determination unwavering as he faced the unexpected visitor. His protective instincts flared as he declared, "Whatever you are, know that I will never allow you to harm my family",
Zura's gaze was intense, her eyes flashing with a dark intensity. "After all these years, my senses have never betrayed me," she spoke, her voice tinged with a cold, demonic tone. "All I need is that teenage boy."
Rizo clenched his jaw, anger rising within him as he realized the true nature of her intentions. "You won't lay a single hand on my son," he growled, his voice filled with protective determination.
Shina turned to Emrys, her voice firm but loving. "Son, stay indoors. Don't come out, no matter what."
Emrys nodded, feeling a mixture of worry and curiosity. "Okay, Mom," he replied, his voice tinged with apprehension. "Please, be careful."
Shina gave him a reassuring smile. "Don't worry, I'll be fine. I'm going to join your father,"
" Mom, what's going on? Who's that lady?", Emrys curiously asked,
" Son, your father and I will explain when we are done with her, okay?" Shina said. She kissed her son on his forehead and went outside.
Despite Rizo's valiant efforts, Zura's dark forces proved too powerful. With a cruel smirk, she easily overpowered Rizo's attempts at protection. Rizo's face twisted in pain as he fell to his knees, overwhelmed by Zura's strength.
Emrys, hidden inside, flinched at the sounds of struggle outside. His heart raced with worry for his parents, and he desperately wished there was something he could do to help.
Rizo, his body weakened but his determination unyielding, spoke to Shina with a hoarse voice. "Shina, take Emrys and go now!!!", Shina's expression wavered, torn between leaving her husband behind and fulfilling his request. Tears filled her eyes, but she nodded in agreement. "Okay," she choked out.
As Shina made a mad dash towards the house, intent on rescuing Emrys, Zura seized the moment and attacked. With brutal swiftness, she struck Shina, halting her progress and forcing her to the ground. Shina cried out in pain as she fell.
Emrys, hidden within, flinched at the sound of his mother's cry. His heart pounded in his chest as he realized the danger they were both in. He wanted nothing more than to rush out and help, but fear froze him in place.
Rizo's face twisted in horror, watching helplessly as Zura mercilessly struck down his wife. His heart shattered, a pain more profound than any physical blow coursing through his being. Emrys, hidden and witnessing the gruesome scene, silently held his hands over his own mouth, tears streaming down his face. The sounds of his father's anguished cries and Zura's sinister actions filled the air as the once peaceful night turned into a horrific nightmare.
Zura let out a chilling laugh, her voice filled with satisfaction. "Oh, it feels so good," she exclaimed, reveling in the suffering of others. "Hearing the cries, the pains they feel, and consuming their very essence – it's all so... satisfying." She reveled in the power she held over others, thriving on their terror and anguish.
Zura, her bloodthirsty mission completed, began moving through the house in search of the final target - Emrys. Her movements were menacing, her eyes scanning every corner and room with deadly focus.
Meanwhile, Emrys remained hidden in his secret location, his heart pounding wildly with fear and desperation. He held his breath, praying that he would remain undetected amid the sinister presence that now stalked the house.
Zura's taunting voice echoed through the house, her words sharp and cruel.
"Where are you hiding, teenage boy? Hahahaha." Emrys, still hidden, trembled in fear. His heart hammered against his ribcage as he desperately tried to control his breathing and stay as quiet as possible.
Sensing Emrys' presence, Zura used her sinister abilities to effortlessly detect his hidden location. With a wicked smile, she extended her dark powers, pulling Emrys from his hiding spot with ease.
Emrys found himself yanked forward, a gasp escaping his lips as he was forcefully yanked out into the open, right in front of Zura's menacing form.
