In front of me was a little girl holding a bouquet of red poppy flowers, it was the girl that had been captured before back at the outpost.
"Thank you for protecting my village Mr. Hero."
Accepting the gift, I accepted the flowers and gently placed it inside the car. I kept one of the flower and attached to my vest.
I patted the girl little girl head, and said---
"Thank you for the pretty gift, I'll take care of it."
Hearing this, she smiled brightly at my reply. She was also occasionally glancing at the dogs sitting nearby.
"If you wish, you can play with them for a while."
Hearing this, she thanked me again and happily hopped toward the Rin and the others.
I signal for Rin, Riina, and Rinzler telling them that they could play around for a bit.
At the moment, I'm not in a rush to get back yet.
Walking around the village and checking the damage and status of the clean-up. Some of the villager thank me for protecting the village and gave me some gifts.
Like the girl before, some other children also gifted me some poppy flower.
Among the gift I recieved plenty of foods and treats, I also got a map of the surrounding area and I had the system use it as a reference to update the map.
Alongside the food and map, I recieve a full set of chainmail armor from the village's armorer. Thanking me for getting him so many sets of iron armor from the pillagers.
Making my way to the library I soon met the librarian again, she thanked me and also gifted an enchantment books having seen me really interested in enchantment on my first visit.
What's the harm with having one more enchantment book.
Getting ready to head out, I soon recalled Rin, Riina, and Rinzler. Quickly running back , they loaded into the car and began sniffing at my bag that had some of the gifted foods from the villagers.
Sighing, I took out the roasted chicken for them but I took a drumstick for myself.
Turning on the car, I headed in the direction the pillager army came from.
