Arriving back at the outpost, completely exhausted from the events of last night.
I collapse onto the red bed within the guard tower I had preoccupied.
Still uncomfortable with the security of the outpost itself, I preferred something more defensible for one person and higher if possible; the guard tower suit that perfectly.
Until I have the time to closely inspect all of the outpost itself, I'll stay in the tower.
Sleeping through the entire day, I woked up and check the time. 6 hours had already passed and the sun had begun to set over the horizon.
"I guess if you sleep during the night you'll wake up until sunrise but if you sleep during the day you'll wake up at sunset; huh, good to know."
Nearby, I could see the pets waking up on another bed I had brought up. It seem that Minecraft bed affected animals too.
Heading down to the car, I grabbed the bag of foods inside and brought it back up the tower.
Inside, the food was still warm to the touch leaving me confused. It look like the food in minecraft stays the same regardless of time and probably wouldn't spoil in this world.
After eating and feeding the pets, we headed back to sleep for the next day.
(Day 5)
Waking up to the next day unsure of what to do. I still had 2 days according to system time before I could open a rift and return back to my main world again.
I soon thought of where to explore next. Since I don't have a player interface, mining would be a hassle and pointless for me but that doesn't mean I can't look around.
Getting ready to start a new adventure, I got back in the car and drove in the directions of the ravine I found on the first day.
Looking at my dashboards, I noticed that the fuels gage hadn't change at all and it was still full. Given the amount of driving I'd been doing all week it should be almost 3/4 empty.
Soon, I realized that the system core is a lot more magical and powerful than I thought.
"Indestructible and unlimited range, this is pretty much now a super tank."
A/N: Again, overpowered? Yes, but it's my novel. Don't worry, I won't try to abused it too much, plus I planned to get newer technologies from other worlds to supplement this like an arc reactor from marvel or something.
