Title: Chōchō's Unexpected Babysitting Adventure (Part 6)
---
As Shikamaru dragged Mya through the village streets, the tiny terror suddenly clutched her stomach and let out a dramatic, ear-splitting wail.
"AHHHHHH! I AM ABOUT TO GIVE BIRTH!" she screamed, loud enough that half the village turned to stare.
Shikamaru froze. "You are WHAT—"
Before he could finish, Mya dropped to her knees in the middle of the road, face scrunched in exaggerated agony. A crowd gathered instantly—curious civilians, alarmed shinobi, and a very confused Genin team who had just been on their way to training.
"IT'S HAPPENING!" Mya howled, rolling onto her back like a dramatic turtle. "THE YOUNG MASTER IS COMING!"
Shikamaru, now sweating bullets, crouched beside her. "Mya, stop this right now—"
"PUSH, MYA, PUSH!" shouted an overly enthusiastic civilian from the crowd, clearly not grasping the situation.
Mya obliged with another theatrical scream, kicking her legs wildly. After a few seconds of intense "labor," she suddenly went still—then let out a loud, unmistakable sound.
PFFFFBBBBTTTTTTTT—
Silence.
A single, slightly cracked egg rolled out from under her dress.
Mya lay sprawled on the ground, panting dramatically. "I... I did it... I'm a mother..."
The crowd stared.
The egg wobbled.
Shikamaru's soul left his body.
Then, from the back of the crowd, a familiar voice cut through the silence.
"MYA AKIMICHI."
Everyone turned to see Mya's mother—a towering, furious Akimichi woman with veins popping on her forehead.
Mya sat up instantly, grinning. "Oh. Hi, Mom."
Her mother's eye twitched. "You ate their heir. You faked labor in the middle of the street. And now you've laid an egg like a damn chicken."
Mya blinked. "...Yeah?"
Her mother grabbed her by the ankle and hoisted her upside-down. "WE'RE GOING HOME."
As she stomped off, dragging a giggling Mya behind her, the crowd remained frozen in shock.
Shikamaru slowly picked up the egg, sighed, and turned to the nearest Chunin. "Get me the Hokage. And a very strong drink."
