Chapter 44 - ch11

Title: "Mya's Kiri Serenade – A Love Song to Chaos"

[Kirigakure Streets – Late Afternoon]

The misty air of the Village Hidden in the Fog swirled as Mya Akimichi, Konoha's tiniest terror, stumbled upon a street musician's abandoned violin. Without hesitation, she snatched it up, tucked it under her chin like a seasoned prodigy, and—before Chōchō's team could stop her—launched into an impromptu concert.

The bow struck the strings.

And then—

🎶 "The breeze has blown, and my mood is right~"

Her voice, shockingly clear and hauntingly melodic, cut through the mist like a kunai through paper.

Passersby froze. A fishmonger dropped his eel.

🎶 "The weather is lovely, and feelings alight~"

Chōchō, mid-bite into a Kiri-style skewer, choked. "SHE CAN SING?!"

Shira, the stoic Kiri-nin assigned to escort them, blinked slowly. "...the hell is this ."

🎶 "Clouds have covered this magical land~"

An elderly woman clutched her chest. "Such passion… from a child?!"

A hardened Kiri jōnin, who had survived the Bloody Mist era, felt a single tear roll down his scarred face. "Why… why does this hurt me…?"

🎶 "And verses flowed for you, oh singer so grand~"

Mya swayed dramatically, eyes closed, violin weeping under her fingers. The crowd swelled—drawn in by the sheer absurdity of a five-year-old belting out what sounded like a centuries-old love ballad.

A Kiri musician dropped to his knees. "She's better than me."

🎶 "Your nearness is joy, your sight is delight~"

A group of teenage kunoichi clutched each other, swooning. "WHO IS SHE SINGING ABOUT?!"

Chōchō, now panicking, turned to her teammates. "We were supposed to stop her from causing international incidents!"

🎶 "For your embrace, I'd give all in sight~"

A masked ANBU lurking on a rooftop slipped and fell into a dumpster.

🎶 "Oh, soul of my soul, my healer so true~"

By the final verse, half the street was openly proposing to their love interest . The other half was recording on ninja-scrolls. A stray cat curled around Mya's ankles, as if moved by the artistry.

As the last note faded, Mya lowered the violin with a flourish.

Silence.

Then—thunderous applause.

"ENCORE!" a merchant.

"WHO HURT YOU, LITTLE ANGEL?!" wailed a kunoichi.

Shira, dead-eyed, turned to Chōchō. "Take her back. Now."

Mya bowed deeply, then grinned. "Thanks! I made it up on the spot!"

The crowd screamed in emotional devastation.

Chōchō grabbed Mya and ran.

[Later – Kiri Mission Debriefing]

Mizukage: "So. Your five-year-old composed and performed a ballad so it caused a public meltdown."

Chōchō: "Yes."

Mizukage: "And now our Black Ops want to recruit her for psychological warfare."

Shira: "She broke the Hōzuki Clan's heir. He's locked in his room writing poetry."

Chōchō, head in hands: "I just wanted dango…"

[Post-Credits Scene]

Back in Konoha, Mya's parents receive a scroll labeled:

"URGENT: YOUR DAUGHTER IS A MENACE (BUT ALSO A GENIUS?)"

Her mother sighs. "One week. We asked for one week."

Mya, already sneaking off with a koto: "Hey, wanna hear my new song? It's called 'Tax Evasion.'"
