Synopsis
In the universe humanity sits at rank of 400 out of nine hundred races—outgunned and outclassed. Their only edge is Psion, a quantum energy no one else can cultivate other than the humans. Yet, at some point in this cycle, a resonance emerges that does not adhere to either Order or Chaos. A peculiar occurrence not observed for thousands of years. It begins quietly, with a cadet no one expected to matter. From that silence, something new takes shape — a path unrecorded, unpredictable, and impossible to contain. And so begins the journey of Kaios, who will walk a path no race, no empire, and no law of the cosmos has ever followed. Chapter 1 - Battle of Origin (Prologue)

The void trembled, eternity recoiled itself from the clash of the two absolutes.

On the one side of Void a figure stood, his body ragged, breath irregular. With each cosmic breath of him expanding and compressing singularities, around him.

He was Kaelith, the Warden Of Expansion And Contraction, whose mere thought can contract Galaxies into single point as well as expand a dust to the size of star. But now he stood there bloodied, yet unyielding. The cracks formed all around his body glimmering with radiance of star.

He looked to front, there stood another person, a person covered in veil. A veil that seems to deny anything that came close to him.

"You did a good job on me, Varion." He said with a smile.

Varion, whose features hidden behind the veil smirked.

"You know me well, Kaelith. As long as something is a nuisance to me it will be filtered before it can approach me." He said with confidence.

The figure is Varion, Dominion of Filter. An abstract ability that allows him to filter the noise as long as he specify them.

"That's ability of your is annoying, but who I am to tell about that. Through I am not that easy to be defeated by you." Kaelith said, clenching his fist, before leaping towards Varion.

Density Expansion: Thousand Fold Universe

Momentum Expansion: Instantaneous Lumina

Kaelith suddenly appeared near Varion, with punch as dense as numerous universes, speed so fast that light will shy. Then he hurled this punch, towards Varion.

Totality shredded, the void cried in agony, across the path the punch travelled. But as the attack neares Varion, he only smiled in reply.

"You know, you have to do more than that Kaelith. It is not enough."

Passive: Infinity Filtration: Physical

Passive: Infinity Filtration: Energy

Varion created two barriers of his passive defence technique instantly, to counter each aspect of the attack. A physical filter barrier to block physical harm, and an energy filter barrier to defend the energy aspect. A true counter for the technique of Kaelith.

"Heh...You thought I didn't take that annoying ability into consideration." Kaelith smirked.

Focal Expansion: Point contraction

A technique that seemed to be paradox but instead compliment each other, by decreasing the Area of Effect, while increasing its aim to a single point.

"That's smart from you, but my—" Varion's voice cut off, and for the first time his expression faltered.

The barriers shattered as it came to the contract of the attack, neither the physical filter worked nor the energy one, each became useless.

Then the attack hit him, his body cracked even more than Kaelith, and was thrown backwards numerous lightyear behind. His confidence on his Defence technique shattered, he felt as vulnerable as a turtle without a shell against Kaelith.

"Ho..how? How did you bypass that?" He muttered, his voice laced in confusion.

When Kaelith, who just crossed that distance between them, in a blink by contracting their space between heard, a known smile appeared on his face.

"It is simple really, that i now feel foolish not to use it before. What I did was, just interchanged the Physical and other aspects. Then Expand the randomness as well probability, so it sures the fact that energy aspect broke the physical and vice versa." Kaelith explained all this.

Varion was shocked, to see the table turn in span of second. Just a few second ago he was thrashing Kaelith, and now he was the one in his place. It just took some time for Kaelith to figure out the weakness of his and made a counter to it on the move. But even with all this, a smile formed on his face, as his confusion faded slowly.

"Hahaha.. Good, good. This will be more fun than I thought previously." He laughed with euphoria.

In the eyes of Absolutes the world had already lost its factor, thus the only entertainment for them was battles— battles between each other. So, each one of them had some tendancy of a battle maniac.

Varion then stood, as his veil was flutteing even in the absence of wind in the void.

"Let's make it more fun Kaelith." He suggested as a sword appeared.

The sword, that just appeared in his hand too pure, without any blemish. It was radiating so much brilliance, that even darkness was transforming into its radiance— yes, not being replied, but transforming.

Kaelith also smirked as he heard it, and saw him taking out his sword. "So the old way you want, huh... Then be it."

As Kaelith said that, a paradoxical phenomenon appeared in his hand.

It was a set gauntlet, that appeared on from this phenomenon, both containing the each duality of his.

One was shimmering outwardly, with expanding each second. Contrary to that other one looked like a dying star, compressing everything around him into singularity.

After both of them called their Divine weapons, they took their stances, before charging at each other. Their expression hadn't that of anger or hatred, but that of joy, pride and..... a little grief.

Thus, the final confrontation between two Absolutes began, and burdened with them was the fate of their universe.

As battle among these two continued, singularities created and erased with each of their attack, attacks so simple and casual for them, but had the power to erase galaxies or civilization were used normally.

The void was transforming with each moves of their. Sometimes being shredded and sometimes being weaved. A battle that couldn't even comprehend by the mortal mind, but their lives depending on its results, continued. As for the reason of their battle, and why these Absolutes were fighting in the first place, no one knew about that.

This confrontation lasted for a while, before coming to the completion. The void, that signify the destruction was destroyed.

The Absolute that lost this confrontation among two was, Kaelith. His already broken body was now in shatter, light coming out from inside, as if they finally broken out from the prison. The Absolute Kaelith was in his last breath.

"That was an exciting battle old friend.", he spoke weakly, while a light smile tugged on his face.

Varion nodded to it, he also didn't come across unscathed from this fight. Although less than the Kaelith infront of him, still his body was riddled with cracks all across.

"It was a good runz my friend. But we are burdened with legacy, so this confrontation was unavoidable."

As Kaelith heard this, his expressions also turned to that of regret. He then spoke, "As you said my friend, we Absolutes as strong as we are, still bounded by this cycle of legacy, though I am happy, that I will finally able to break this, that also this manner." His voice containing tint of pride.

Varion also shared the same expression, then spoke while smiling, "You are still optimistic to the end, well then. Farewell my friend, it looks like the end of your is near. I will leave you alone, Kaelith, so you can collect your thoughts, before your demise."

Saying this Varion vanished, leaving only Kaelith in the void. Kaelith stared at his surrounding, the void was also mimicking his own conditions, filled with cracks, as if it was being held by the thin string. This was the consequences of the battle between two Absolutes.

He then muttered, "Cycle of Legacy, Cycle of Ascendancy, that even, we Absolutes were not spare of." While staring upwards.

As he was uttering this, his body started to break down. Light leaked out and lower body of his broke down into dust. As Kaelith saw it, he sighed before muttering for the one last time.

"Sorry Vorlithia, it looks like you have to bear it for another cycle."

"Legacy will rise once again, and may I find the peace till that. "

As his words completed, his whole body, fully turned to dust— assmilated in the surrounding, leaving only the echoes of his in the void.

Varion, far away from the Void, saw this whole thing, not even the dimensional separation could block the eye of Absolute of Filter.

As he saw the last moment of Kaelith, a grief expression appeared, but it was eased the moment it appeared. He turned, a slight smile appearing on his face.

"I will await for you, friend."

Far far away from the void, a planet habited by humans, one couple was roaming inside the forest. The night sky was filled with shimmering stars.

Then suddenly a cry echoed in the forest.

Wah wah wah...

Both of them surprised as they heard it before approaching towards the origin of that cry. As they neared it, there they found a baby.

The baby was a boy, he was wrapped in a crimson cloth, from head to toe, as his eyes were shimmering with purple glow, illumating in the darkness of the forest. The lady stretched her hand, as to hold the baby. When she came to contact with the boy, he suddenly stopped crying, as if sensing warmth around him. He then started to laugh, while he streched his hand to poke that lady's cheek.

As the couple saw this, they both were overwhelmed by the cuteness of this little thing, and decided something, while nodding to each other.

Then the lady held him high and spoke with a smile, "From now onwards you will be our son."

"And your name will be Kaios— Kaios Grimwold."
