Synopsis
The three Legacy Sisters—triplets born to rule universes—were given a trial by their mother, the Primordial Empress. To prove their worth, they must each rise to the throne of empresshood without their divine powers and without the aid of an emperor. Cast into a world torn between three mighty empires, each sister has a chance to claim her crown. But fate twists cruelly for Kora, the youngest. Stripped of her celestial form, she awakens in the fragile body of a lowly concubine/First class attendant in the emperor’s harem. Surrounded by scheming rivals, guarded by silken chains, and drowned in the politics of a deadly court, Kora must carve her path to power with nothing but wit, will, and a dangerous charm. The game is set, the sisters divided—only one can ascend. Will Kora rise from concubine to Empress, or be crushed beneath the weight of empires?

Chapter 1 - Legacies

What is a legacy, you ask? It is not a mere title or a name. It is a force that bends reality, a presence older than time itself, and one that should never be underestimated.

Tera, the eldest legacy, had created everything that had ever existed—elves, humans, monsters, dragons, even gods and goddesses. Yet few knew of her existence, let alone the existence of a legacy.

Tera had three daughters, formed from the dying light of a collapsing star. The legacy triplets, as they were known, were stronger than Tera herself. Power flowed through their veins like a storm, giving them dominion over the very threads of the universe.

The firstborn, Divina, was the most formidable. She commanded the power of soul and reality, able to manipulate life and death with a mere thought. To cross her was to invite eternal torment; even in death, she could reach into the soul and drag it through endless suffering. Her temper was legendary, swift and merciless, and those who witnessed it rarely lived to tell the tale.

Hayley, the second, wielded the power of space and influence. She molded dimensions, crafted entire universes, and decided which worlds would be blessed with magic. Her heart, unlike Divina's, leaned toward kindness. She saw the good in things, seeking to nurture rather than destroy.

And then there was Kora, the youngest, the enigmatic one. She held sway over time and mind, bending both with a subtlety that made her dangerous in ways no one could predict. She smiled through pain, observed suffering without flinching, and her loyalty belonged only to her mother and sisters. To underestimate her was to court disaster.

The three sisters, and their mother Tera, had existed for over a trillion years. Tera herself had witnessed the birth of time. Legacies were not bound by morality—they were neither good nor evil. They simply were. And their existence defined everything that came after.

On the planet Morin, the triplets trained as they always did, testing each other's limits. The air around them hummed with power as Hayley swung a strike so fierce it could have shattered a planet. Kora twisted aside with a grace that belied her amusement, while Divina absorbed the force, letting it surge through her before releasing it as an even greater attack.

"Shall we end this, little sisters?" Divina's voice carried a calm cruelty, as a sphere of raw energy formed at her fingertips.

No attack could truly harm them—they were legacies—but the thrill of the fight was in the challenge, in the display of dominance. Divina emerged as the victor, standing tall while her sisters got to their feet.

"You win, Divina," Kora said simply.

"And stop calling us little sisters," Hayley muttered. "You are literally only five minutes older than me."

Divina smirked, her eyes sharp. "Five minutes can mean a lifetime in power, little sister. I have grown, and so must you."

Kora straightened, brushing dust from her robes. "Do you know what Mother has planned? She intends to send us to some random world, seal our powers, and test us."

Divina's smile widened. "Of course I know. She wants to see who can survive, who can conquer without magic. We will all take random bodies, inhabit worlds alien to us, and face challenges we cannot predict. Only the strong in mind and body will survive."

Hayley's eyes widened. "Why am I the last to know?"

Before Kora could answer, a phoenix with feathers like molten amethyst descended, its wings blazing with fire. "Mother calls," Kora said, and the triplets vanished from Morin, transported instantly to the vastness of legacy space.

Tera waited, serene and imposing, a presence that bent reality without effort. "It is time," she said. "You will each go to a different empire, inhabit bodies of your choosing—or rather, of chance—and claim the title of Empress. But hear me: there must be no Emperor. Stand alone, rule alone. Fail, and all your efforts will mean nothing. And do try to enjoy the experience. Life, even without power, has its... pleasures."

"Yes, Mother," the three voices replied in unison, a mixture of respect and anticipation echoing across the void.

Tera sealed their powers, and without warning, a portal opened beneath their feet. The legacy triplets stepped forward, leaving behind their home, their powers, and everything they had ever known. Their journey had begun.
