Queen Celeste's POV
Queen Celeste threw herself in front of a falling stone beam just as it crashed toward her daughter.
"Luna, get back!" she shouted, using her moon magic to push the heavy stone away. But more chunks of the castle were falling every second as the First Magic tore their world apart.
Through the chaos, Celeste could hear King Apollo's voice calling from the Day Realm. Even though they were enemies, even though they hadn't spoken in twenty years, she knew exactly what he was thinking right now.
Their children were in terrible danger, and it was time for the parents to do something about it.
"Apollo!" Celeste called out across the border between their realms. "Can you hear me?"
"I hear you, Celeste," came his reply, carried by the strange magic that was breaking both their worlds. "Our kids have awakened something that wants to destroy everything."
