Luna's POV
Luna dropped the ancient magic book she was reading when her mother walked into the library.
"Just studying battle spells," Luna said quickly, shoving the book under a pile of other texts. But her hands were shaking, and she knew her mother noticed.
"Luna, sweetheart, you've been acting strange for two days," Queen Celeste said, sitting down beside her daughter. "Ever since you and Sunny read the prophecy, you've been jumpy and secretive. What's wrong?"
Everything, Luna thought desperately. We know the real prophecy now, and one of us has to die, and I can't tell you because you'll try to stop us, and then everyone will die instead.
But out loud, she just said, "I'm fine, Mom. Just worried about the Shadow King."
Queen Celeste's eyes narrowed slightly. As the ruler of the Night Realm, she was good at spotting lies. "Luna, if there's something in that prophecy book that we missed—"
