Sunny's POV
The golden breakfast plate crashed to the floor right next to Sunny's feet.
"Sorry, Your Highness!" squeaked the young kitchen maid, scrambling to clean up the mess. "I didn't mean to drop it, I just... I got scared when you started glowing again."
Sunny looked down at his hands and groaned. Sure enough, tiny flames were dancing across his fingertips without him even trying to make them appear. Ever since he and Luna had created their magical garden three days ago, his powers kept acting up at the strangest times.
"It's okay, Mira," he told the nervous girl. "I'll clean it up."
But when Sunny bent down to help gather the broken pieces, his magic flared again. Instead of just cleaning the plate, his sun magic somehow made the broken parts glow and stick back together - but now the plate was made of what looked like solid sunshine.
Mira stared at the glowing dish with wide eyes. "That's... that's not normal magic, is it?"
"No," Sunny admitted. "It's really not."
