DAVINA
I took a step back, eyes darting through every one of them but they stalked me, their Alpha aura now intense under the bright moonlight.
Even though I wasn't scared by the way they looked at me, with such dark and brooding eyes as if they were about to latch onto their prey, I still couldn't believe what happened.
"Can someone explain what's happening here?" I reached the riverbank, my feet sinking into the soft sand, and was overwhelmed by the cold water.
But they were quiet, and it irked me, greatly.
"I need answers!" I seethed. "Why have you brought me here?"
"Calm down, Davina." Shawn reached out to me, his muscular arm faster than my legs could carry me and soon, he wrapped his hand around my waist, bringing me to him.
I shivered, brows creased, "Someone tell me something."
"For tonight…" Ethan held my shoulder, a show of reassurance. "Just trust us. We had to take you away from the mansion."
"But why?" I gasped. "Is it the Alpha? Is he going to harm me?"
Uriel pursed his lips before nodding slightly. My chest tightened as my stomach dipped. What kind of life did I emerge in? From a broken family to yet another one with my mother turning a blind eye.
The brothers had suffered enough, but I couldn't stand to think of what could happen to me too. The thought of that rod digging into my flesh and blood oozing made me shiver.
Or maybe it wouldn't be just the rod alone, but something else. Something more jarring.
"Why…" I shook. "Why didn't you all warn me and tell me to stay away? You shouldn't have brought me from school!"
I didn't care if I was selfish! I already faced enough bullying at school, and I wasn't sure I would last so long if the Alpha descended his evil claws on me.
"Davina…" Shawn cupped my cheeks, his usually cold eyes a mix of emotions I couldn't quite read. "Just trust us. We are going to protect you."
"Protect me?" I sneered as I pushed myself off him, eyes blazing with fury. "You have no right to say that."
Shawn looked away, his face a bit red from embarrassment.
And I continued, "You rejected me before the whole class and watched me get bullied, but you say you will protect me?"
I turned to Ethan, my face twitching, "And you locked me up without a word or any form of apology!"
Uriel knew it was his turn, he took a step back, hands folded behind him in surrender, "You dare to insult me and compare me to a slut?"
"If that's what protection is, then I don't want it!"
I stood back, making sure they understood me perfectly. My hands were clenched, as I made a beeline to go away from them.
I wouldn't trust them at all. They were all after breaking me and seeing me fall apart.
But then, I stopped as I turned to them, "About carrying me on your backs. That means nothing to me. I am not your mate!"
At least, I didn't feel the bond but the way I reacted to their touches was a glaring fact, that told me otherwise. It was just a matter of time for me.
Still, I stomped away, straight on the lonely path we had came in. I was reaching into the forest already, feet crushing the dry leaves beneath me. I couldn't go back to the mansion that night, with no wolf, I was bound to break down on the way.
But then, I let out a sigh of relief, realizing I was far away from the triplets now and my back leaned on a large tree, trying not to let my tears fall as I crouched.
But the tears at the rims of my eyes stung, my heart feeling so heavy.
I felt abandoned, useless, and prey upon. Why would I find myself in a lonely forest if my mother had not chosen to take a bad decision?
"Are you done running away?" A deep voice slithered into my ears and my head snapped to the side to see Ethan grinning at me, his eyes shining with mischief.
"I wanted you to actually run very far, so I can catch you in a second." Of course, he liked the thrill.
The thrill of making me suffer!
I shot up to my feet and didn't take a second glance at him before dashing further away from him. My feet hastened, as if I had fire under my bossom. But in the blink of an eye, he appeared before me, jumping to stop me.
My fingers quivered as I realized I had underestimated these brothers. They were Alpha wolves and I wouldn't be comparable to the strength of 18-year-olds like me who had strength comparable to high-ranking wolves.
And before I could step further away from him, he caught my chin, his fingers digging into my soft flesh.
"It was your mother's decision to marry that Alpha, not ours…" He gritted. "Our decision is to protect you, our mate, however we can!"
"I don't want…hmm."
His lips crashed on mine, shutting me up and they moved against mine with desperation, longing, and desire as if he had been starved of me.
And when his arm snaked around my waist and he glued me to his body, I was melting already. Amidst the cold, his body was warm and I desperately wanted to be buried in his warmth.
And I kissed him harder, desperately reaching into his mouth to feel every crevice in there.
But suddenly, he let me go.
I whined, cheeks red with my pulse drumming for more of him.
"I shouldn't be too selfish with you, right, mate?"
Instantly, I felt a pull from behind. It was Shawn, with eyes sharp like razors cutting into me. I shivered feeling chills down my spine and even though his eyes should have repelled me, I pined for more.
"Shawn…" I whimpered as his cold fingers touched me, his thumb brushing on my bottom lip.
But then, his eyes turned warm, "You have no idea, how I loved to see you every day at school."
I swallowed, heat rising in my chest.
"Why didn't you just accept me then?" I asked. "Why did you loathe me before everyone—"
His thumb forced its way into my mouth, shutting me up. But I didn't feel violated at all, as I only felt a pulse between my legs. This dominance, I lived for it.
"No questions for now…" He shook his head before reaching for me. He pulled me up, and my legs wrapped around his waist for dear life.
But that was a wrong move! However, was it?"
He put my back to a tree, pressing his hard dick in between my legs as he claimed my lips. Oh, it was absolutely divine and sweet to be beneath his delicious naked body.
My hands snaked around his neck, before trailing down to his chest muscles, feeling every single speck.
This was my first kiss with him as well, but his was consuming, as if he was going to take me whole. I tried to keep up with him, fastening to his pace and my heartbeat crept up, and the wetness in between my legs increased.
"Shawn…" I broke the kiss, breathing heavily, eyes heavily hooded. "I might need something else."
But all he did was smirk at me, when I expected him to shred my pants and dig his dick deeper into me. My nerves were a wreck and they were making me go crazy even though I couldn't feel the mate bond yet.
Shawn had suddenly let me go and Uriel emerged, "Something like?"
He caught me, as I slipped to the floor, bedded by the fallen leaves. Uriel came on me, slow and not demanding like his brothers. His warmth, like a cocoon overwhelmed me as he cushioned my head with his palm.
"Tell me what you want, mate…" Uriel's hand was slow but skillful, as it crept underneath my large shirt, sneaking under my underwear and cupping my boobs.
He tweaked my nipple, sending a jolt of electricity down to my pussy.
"Do you want it slow like this?" He whispered before kissing me lightly, sucking on my lips like a child with his favorite candy.
It calmed the storm within me, but only caused a slow and burning tension that was harder to overcome.
"Tell me what you want."
I took a deep breath, chest heaving before I whispered, "Fuck me, please."
