Chapter 8 - Desire. Need. Arousal

DAVINA

I was dressed and the only casual clothes I could find were a soft scarf and a mid-length dress that left the rest of my legs exposed. The wind that blew through my open windows made me shiver, rubbing my open arms.

The door pushed open, and Ethan didn't walk in like expected.

Shawn did, with his brows creased, "Are you leaving in that?"

Confusion set in with lines on my forehead forming, "Are you coming with Ethan and I?"

"Yes, we all are going out together."

I froze, realizing this was much serious than I thought.

"You should take off that dress." He pulled off his shirt and as he stalked me, I took a step back. "You won't be able to stand the cold later."

"Where are we going? Is something happening at the mansion tonight?"

"No." His voice was curt, as always but it was laced with something else, urgency.

He reached me, already trying to pull my dress but I swiped his hands off me.

"You will not force me out of this dress unless you answer me!" I pointed a finger at him, eyes blazing.

Shawn froze for a second and then blinked his eyes. A second later, the side of his lips raised, "You are feisty."

"Why have you hidden this side of you for so long?"

"That's…" I shook, suddenly nervous. "That's not what we are talking about! I want to know what's happening."

"You will know everything when we leave the mansion. For now, you need to change out of your dress!"

My nose rose in the air, with an air of defiance, "And if I don't?"

His hands bunched the dress as he tilted his head, his eyes narrowing into slits, "Then I will make you."

I quivered, almost buckling to my knees. He wasn't scary at all, or cold. He was mad sexy and provocative and that did something to me, blooming in my chest.

"Fine…" I relented. "Give it to me."

"No." He refused, pulling the shirt away. "We have wasted too much time here. I will do it myself."

"What?" I frowned. "Wait—"

Snap!

It was tear. His claws had slid down my dress, pulling them apart and I was left in my underwear.

"Shawn…" I cried out, covering my spilled out boobs with my tiny hands. It did nothing to cover my body and he had his eyes glued on them for a few seconds before he hurled his shirt over me.

It fell on my mid-thighs and my hands almost got lost in the sleeves.

I watched him pull off his grey pants and then he stood naked before me.

"What…what are you doing?" I gasped.

"Making sure you stay warm." He shrugged. "Quick, wear it."

I held his shoulders as he bent down to help me and I asked, "Then what are you going to wear? Are you going to stay naked like this?"

"Don't worry. I have got more tolerance than you."

I frowned, knowing there was no amount of tolerance that could protect him from the cold. He didn't have his wolf yet like me and he would fall sick if his body couldn't take it.

He pulled on my hand, ready to leave. I stumbled after him, still worried but I couldn't get out of his grip. I was made to watch his nice-shaped ass and the way his dick dangled in between his legs.

I swallowed, as my throat turned dry.

Oh, Goddess, it was damn big!

I hadn't seen any of the boys naked but this only gave me an expectation. I wonder what would be hiding between Uriel's and Ethan's legs.

But then, I quickly facepalmed myself, realizing what I was thinking.

In just one day, I had become a girl who had all these sultry thoughts all because of these brothers who wouldn't sit still.

"I can smell you, Davina." Shawn's voice reached me as we finally got out of the mansion.

"What…what do you mean..." My cheeks burned with a deep red hue.

He turned to me slightly, lips drawn in a taunting smile before it disappeared. I looked away, head tilting downward. I was aroused, and wet just for him.

We rounded the corner, reaching a dark part on a lonely road and the brothers emerged.

Uriel stopped to look at me with that smile that always adorned his face and Ethan, sucked in a cold breath, while his nose sniffed the air.

"Your scent smells nicer…" He reached me, curling his thumb on my lips. "Did something happen in there?"

His eyes darted to the naked Shawn before looking back at me with a knowing smile.

I raised my hand immediately, "Nothing happened—"

"We don't have much time." Shawn cut in, before pushing me into the mix. The three brothers surrounded me, their faces now a thick layer of caution.

"All paths are clear. We can use up to 6 hours."

"Good. Let's go."

My eyes darted, brows creasing and as I opened my mouth to speak, Shawn suddenly collapsed before me.

His limbs stretched, face morphing into one of a black furry wolf, and a few seconds later, he bounced on all fours, his black fur glistening under the moonlight.

I froze, taking a step back with my mouth wide open.

"Did…did you see that?" I turned to Ethan but in the blink of an eye, he landed on all fours too. He was a dark brown wolf, that complemented Shawn's color in a way.

Uriel was left standing, and he pushed me toward Shawn's wolf, "Get on."

"But…but…"

He nudged me, and my butt landed on Shawn's wolf, his broad back accommodating me perfectly.

"This shouldn't be happening…" My breath hitched, palms sweating. "How do you guys have your wolf now?"

"Is it different for you, Uriel?"

Crack!

My stomach dipped when I saw him land on all fours too, his blue eyes shining, and he was a white wolf, a color that mirrored the moon's radiance.

These three brothers together, were absolutely divine. Three Alpha wolves! A wonder that shouldn't have happened at their ages!

I wouldn't get my wolf until I was 20, but they got theirs at 18?

My heart thumped, the thrill of seeing their wolves took over the questions I had. Shawn's wolf kicked up the dust, dashing down the path to the forest with a speed comparable to lightning.

I held on, my fingers digging into his thick fur while my face braced the wind.

I was thankful Shawn let me change out of my clothes, otherwise, my nose would be a mess already. However, a few minutes later, he tossed me onto Ethan's wolf.

The ride continued and for the next ten minutes, we entered the forest, and I was tossed on Uriel's wolf.

He wasn't faster, but very alert, bracing through the forest bumps and whatever boulders lay ahead. He avoided other wolves skillfully, and even with the white fur, he was stealthy.

We had long crossed the forest and we tread a lonely path to a flowing river. At the bank of the river, we stopped and they all pranced about checking everywhere to know if we were safe.

I stood back, my eyes darting with the dim light provided by the moonlight. I realized we had come here for refuge, for protection but from what? The Alpha?

Finally, the three wolves surrounded me again, and slowly, they morphed back and stood naked before me, eyes glistening with deep emotions.

Desire. Need. Arousal.

I finally realized what sitting on their backs meant, as only a mate could do that.
