Work took most of our time, and Frank was sure to help me out in any way that he could. There was absolutely nothing that I couldn't do alone but he had wanted to make sure that he helped in the little way he could. He had given me some information about the elders. Telling him that whatever concerned them would have to wait.
"What if they find out that some of them are not dead? They wouldn't take it."
"Weren't they complaining I was overreacting because of the last that is dead and gone? Now, when they realized that I had initially done what they wanted, they would want to complain again. I am not ready to listen to that." I shook my head pushing that worry at the back of my mind.
That wasn't at the top list of things I wanted to be worried about. I had postponed anything to concern them further into my schedule. I wasn't ready to face them. The guards I had sent for, came through the doors.
