Since I was captured, I hadn't been offered water, and now my only relief came from swallowing saliva, although it was not enough..
I had still sustained the wounds from the previous day and I was almost half dead. For a moment there I thought they were going to finish me up. There was nothing else I could do, it was the act of escaping that had led me into this. And now. I am trying to make it through the next day.
I kept on doing what I have to to keep my mouth wet. I didn't know how long I would be able to survive in this place without food or water. Nothing else mattered to me right now than to get something into my mouth. Anything at all
I knew they were waiting for confirmation from Xavier but it was a long shot. There was no way that he would give them a large amount of money when he wanted him dead himself. Even if he does, it only meant that he was going to have more leverage over me and that was worse than death itself.
