Eighteen years ago, the Blood Creek Pack was attacked by a neighboring pack and lost half the lives of its members.

 

Xavier, the current Alpha of Blood Creek Pack, was six years old when this attack took place. He lost his family and close friends along with his best friend, Daphne, who he thinks died in the attack.

 

What happened when he goes back for revenge and finds out that Daphne is still very much alive? Also, she happens to be his mate and he just killed her adoptive father.

"I still have no sight of Zara."  I tapped through the link that connected me to my team. There was a certain kind of fear that was sitting in my mind. I wanted her to be safe and not hurt. A part of me couldn't repress the fact that something might have happened to her. 


"No!" They informed me through the link.


Before I could speak, the kidnapper approached after leaving me in the dark for over an hour..


The kidnapper stood in front of me, smug, thinking he had everything under control. He was wrong, of course. He had no idea how close he was to meeting his end. But I played the part, kept my expression neutral, even gave him a nod of agreement when he spoke, asking if I'd brought the money. His question about whether I had planned an ambush didn't faze me. It was typical, part of the script in these situations. He didn't know that I always had a plan.
