There is pain knowing that everything I had tried to do to keep this woman safe never really worked. She was there fighting for her life and I was here not knowing what to do with all of the information that I was provided. I didn't know how else to make her feel safe. I saw how bruised she was and I was forced to ask.
"What did they do to her?" Ramona was standing beside me.
"You started it. You know how important this woman was to you but yet, you locked her up. Which allowed her to trust the only person she made as a friend. That was her downfall." I glared at her.
"You do not have to pass blame to me. I do not know who she is and she is from a rival pack." I had to deal with her silence,which tells me that I was in the wrong here..something was entirely wrong with what I had said.
"They beat her to a pulp." Ramona said. "She's all so innocent in this."
