Chapter 1:
I never expected love to start in Room 204—the noisiest classroom in school. But maybe that's how real love begins: in the middle of chaos.
He sat beside me that rainy Tuesday. His name was Aiden Cruz. He had that messy hair, always looked half-asleep, and wore the same hoodie almost every day. He wasn't the type girls usually wrote about in pink notebooks. But me? I noticed the way he chewed his pen when he was nervous. I noticed how he always helped the quiet kid in the back without saying a word.
We weren't close at first. Just seatmates. Just "hi" and "bye." But sometimes, that's all it takes. A glance. A shared joke. A silence that felt too comfortable. Slowly, our story wrote itself in the spaces between those small moments.
But here's the thing they don't tell you about love in high school:Sometimes, the right person comes at the wrong time. And sometimes, no matter how real it feels...It's not meant to stay.
But that won't stop me from telling our story.
Because even if it almost was ours... it still meant everything.
