A couple of guards that were standing guard attempted to subdue Kai, or at least, subdue his power. When they tried to use their elements or their claws, their elemental energy was sent back at them or they were sent flying immediately into the wall. "I got this." Moon said, stepping forward and using her prodigal psychic power to knock him out, causing his powers to deactivate though the clouds above remained dark and it had begun to rain.
"That could've been worse." Larson stated. "That is just a piece of his potential strength rather than his full strength, though as of right now he is not strong enough to truly wield that kind of power, when that ability was activated the pain he was going through was excruciating." Jackyl, analyzed and explained. "As of right now, he can only weild one element at once. He cannot combine them just yet, but with some training, one of the secondary elements may become available to him without overwhelming him." Khalis added.
"Perhaps he could train with the royal warriors." Moon suggested. "That would be appreciated, assuming he accepts, of course." Rhazi replied, Karill nodded. "I'll take him to a room that had been prepared, I'll have a guard escort you two to your room." Moon said after a moment. "Thank you for the advice and your services." Moon said politely to the elders before picking Kai up and escorting him to the room prepared for him, then heading to her own.
[2 days earlier]
She knew her suspicions that the family had fled by now was correct as she could only sense faint traces of his power left here, so while her shadows, searched the cave she picked up a piece of furr, her eyes glowed as she used her magic on it and saw the traces of power emanating from the strand, she grinned as she put in a jar then spoke.
"Kani itsha colma re kirai." The power on the strand changed to a dark collor and the strand of furr turned to a purple smoke, she opened the lid and grinned as it followed the path they had taken, "so that's where you fled to, run and fly all you want little birdie, I will have what is mine, not even your royal dragons or elders can protect you, they will all perish, and your power will be mine, and I will see to it that none of ancient blood will ever exist again and I will be the strongest creature in history, or rather, period."
She said to herself with a cackle. "You can only run scared for so long." She'd told herself with a wicked grin before continuing to speak to herself. "They'll have to stop to rest, and I am willing to bet they're headed to the nearest dragon village, we might be able to cut them off, of course knowing their kind they'd probably fly there." The witch stated to no one in particular, "call for King Yamo and Queen Scarlett. It is time they pay off that debt of theirs." She ordered her shadow minions with a wicked grin. "Getting my hands on him will be much easier than I thought!"
[Meanwhile]
Kai's dreams came to him, it was almost as if he was living a second life, a dragon, who awoke to his power the day of their birth, they too were a furred dragon with a similar fur pattern to Kai, which whom had tilted his head, he could feel his body, his mind was clear, uncluded by the typical fog that moat dreams have clouding a person's awareness. Time seemed to fly by as the young dragon grew, and began understanding his power.
At this time dragonkind was a mess, wild beasts who while having intelligence were far more strongly driven by their instincts and primal urges, sure there were some factions but these factions were constantly at war with each other and the wild dragons that constantly invaded for whatever reason, not to mention their fight against mankind and the vile greed that every last human has.
Dragonkind numbers were dropping and dropping fast, and this ancestor had gathered together the only seemingly truly good faction along with some wild dragons who seemed to focus more on their intelligence over those who completely disregard their sentience and intellect for pure, raw, primal instinct and urges.
Kai watched as this, leader, this... ancestor? Yeah it had to be, rallied together a bunch of dragons, what was odd though was how he seemed to... lessen, the previously wild dragons primal urges through what just seemed to be just a few words. "Who is this guy? Why does he seem to have some extra ability?" Kai asked to no one in particular, suddenly the visions faded, the dream world Kai was in faded to black and the same being he saw appeared in front of him, facing him.
"Hello Kai." Said the dragon, startling the boy, which made the realm shimmer and crack, though the crack slowly closed up. "Oh sorry, didn't mean to startle you, we were supposed to meet far sooner." The big, old... elder, dragon stated. "But unfortunately, something held your power fully at bay, so I'd been unable to contact you, but now, a little bit of your power is trickling through the barrier, so, while my time here is short, at least, this time, I was able to speak with you." They stated.
"Who are you?" Kai asked, tilting his head at the dragon. "Apologies, my name is Rameer, you will find out more about me through these memories of mine, and might unlock a special ability through them that none other of your kind had, each one of us has an extra ability that the others of our kind don't that are only unlocked by meeting certain requirements.
For example my ability was one called restore, it could either fully heal a dragon even from near death, or, restore a dragon's mind were they to have lost it for whatever reason. You may experience the memories of others after me, and those memories could ultimately help you in your journey, but you should know, I was the first and only to survive long enough to have offspring, my descendant."
