With the last bell ringing loudly throughout the school, i packed up my things before walking out of my classroom.
"Hey, Ryouji. Wanna hang out at the karaoke?" One of my friends asked.
"Sure, but not today. I don't do fun stuff on mondays" i replied as i grab my bag.
"You and your hatred on monday..." He said as he rolled his eyes.
"Why wouldn't i? It's the day after sunday, where the sky always shines too bright and the temperatures always being the hottest compared to other days. so of course i hate it." I replied as i too roll my eyes.
"Whatever. Just make sure to empty your schedule for tomorrow, Nakashima-san" a new classmate of mine said.
"No promises. See you guys tomorrow" i replied as i walk out of the class.
'Well, at least my second life wouldn't be a boring one. And being reincarnated in Japan meant that my new life would be more eventful when being compared with my previous life' i thought as i walk down the hallway.
Yeah, i got reincarnated. No afterlife, just darkness and silence, before opening up my eyes after crying out loud to realize that i got reincarnated almost instantly. Thus i now live my new life, under my new identity, Ryouji Nakashima.
With a yawn, i got out of the school. Leisurely walking out of the school gate. After a few minutes of walk, i arrived at the bus stop, waiting for it to arrived with the other students from my school, some of them being high school girls with horse tail and ears.

Though it's still quite far in the future, since i just enter my second year a few weeks ago. But there's nothing wrong with preparing for the future ahead.

With a sigh, i stop in front of a vending machine and buy a can of soda. After pulling up the tab, i look up to the bright orange sky after hearing the sound of thunder.
'Strange. The forecast said that there's no rainstorm today. And it's still in the middle of the spring season on April' I thought as i keep walking.
'Now that made me think. What are the odds of getting hit by lightning anyway?' i thought, shrugging my shoulder as i continue my walk back towards the orphanage.
Unbeknownst to me, the odds are less than one in a million. And to my own bad luck, today i hit am that one chance in less than a million.

A sudden, incredibly intense feeling can be felt all around my body. My chest feels like it's about to burst open from the inside out from the intense sensation. It's only for a split of a second, but it's more than enough to get me fall to the ground from being paralyzed.
As people from the street saw what happened and immediately checking on my condition, with some of them quickly call for ambulance, i couln't do anything except having one last thought before losing consciousness.
