Chapter 1 - CHAPTER 1

Bright Red Sharingan

With blood-red eyes and the black tomoe swirling like tadpoles, Uchiha Lihuo stared at his reflection in the mirror. His black hair framed his youthful face, and the symbol of the Uchiha fan was emblazoned on the back of his dark shirt.

"So this is the aura the clan speaks of... The eyes the villagers both fear and whisper about... they've awakened at last."

His voice was calm, but introspective.

"And yet… I wasn't traumatized. My parents are alive. I'm average in class. No war. No life-or-death fight. So why now?"

Despite his newly awakened Sharingan, Lihuo hadn't tested its famed dynamic vision or copying abilities. Instead, his attention was fixed on something odd—three glowing red options hovering in the center of his vision. The world around him, as seen through his Sharingan, had taken on a blood-red hue—an effect known well within the Uchiha clan, often cited as a reason for the volatility in their temperaments.

He rubbed his eyes and deactivated his dōjutsu. When he opened them again, the options were gone.

"Hallucination?" he muttered. "Or some kind of genjutsu I unknowingly cast on myself?"

He activated his Sharingan again—chakra surging to his optic nerves—and the blood-red haze returned. So did the three options, as vivid as ever.

Despite repeated attempts to cancel any genjutsu and clear his vision, the strange text remained. Eventually, he gave up, having burned through most of his chakra.

That evening, after finishing his ninja academy summer homework, Lihuo stepped out of his room and was greeted by the comforting aroma of curry stew—vegetables and meat stewed with spices, served over hot rice.

"Lihuo, dinner's ready!" his mother called gently.

Uchiha Teiko, Lihuo's mother, had never awakened the Sharingan. She was warm and kind, much like the mothers in most civilian households. Her husband, Uchiha Dō, sat silently at the head of the dining table, his stern demeanor unshaken as he watched his son take his seat.

"Itadakimasu," Lihuo said, pressing his hands together, embarrassed but compliant.

The family maintained a silent, disciplined dining environment—a custom common in traditional Uchiha households. Only once the plates were nearly empty did conversation begin.

"Lihuo," his father said at last, "how are your studies? Are you ahead of your classmates? Have you… awakened?"

Usually, this was when Teiko would begin clearing the dishes, leaving the father and son to speak freely. But this time—

"Father. Mother. I've awakened the Sharingan."

Teiko froze mid-step. Dō's expression twitched for the first time. Then, with rare enthusiasm, he exclaimed:

"Excellent. Truly worthy of being my son!"

Dō himself possessed a three-tomoe Sharingan and had served as a skilled Chūnin. That his son had awakened the dōjutsu so early—even before graduating from the Academy—was a source of great pride.

"Father, I'd like to spend a few days alone in the back mountain," Lihuo said carefully. "I want to understand these eyes better."

Teiko frowned. "Alone? You're still just a student. What if something happens?"

"I won't go deep into the Forest of Death," he reassured her. "And with these eyes, my perception and reflexes have improved a lot. I'll be careful."

Dō finally intervened. "Teiko. Lihuo has inherited the blood of our clan. If he's truly awakened the Sharingan, we shouldn't restrain him unnecessarily."

Teiko looked between the two with concern, then silently resumed cleaning.

Lihuo let out a breath of relief. Staying in the back mountain under the guise of training was better than suddenly disappearing—it would raise fewer questions.

After the dishes were cleared, a quiet settled over the house. Then Dō spoke:

"Lihuo. When will you leave?"

"Tomorrow morning. I'll pack tonight."

Dō nodded. "In the top of my closet is a scroll containing the Fire Style: Great Fireball Technique—C-rank. Take it. There's also a detonation tag. You may find it useful."

"Thank you, Father."

The Next Morning

At sunrise, Lihuo stood at the edge of their home, a pack slung over his shoulder. Inside were kunai, food supplies, the Fireball scroll, and a single detonation tag.

After bidding farewell to his parents, he made his way into the quiet forest beyond Konoha.

Eventually, he arrived at the border of the Forest of Death. Confirming there were no other shinobi nearby, Lihuo exhaled and activated his Sharingan.

Once more, the world turned crimson, and the three options reappeared before him:

One Piece

Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba

"I choose... Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba," he whispered.

The tomoe in his eyes spun wildly, shifting shape—evolving into a Mangekyō Sharingan with a pattern never seen before.

In that moment, Uchiha Lihuo's body vanished—as if swept away by light, into another world entirely.
