Chapter one- 'The Incident' 1
She walked through town, unaware the day would be her last. The breeze played in her hair, and life moved around her. She didn't know death was near-or that her story was only just beginning…. Again.
The sun had just begun its descent, casting long golden streaks across the narrow cobblestone streets. her footsteps echoed softly as she walked alone, the city quiet in that way it only was at the edge of twilight. Storefronts flickered with their store lights on, and somewhere, a distant violin played.
She hums along softly to the violin as it captures her into a soft and melodic trance as she steps to a shop.
"This flower shop looks beautiful, it might have the blue roses" she whispers to herself walking in and smiles softly at the store owner as she passes through the flowers
"do you need help honey?" the old shop owner asked walking towards her "We have many flowers, I'm sure we have what your looking for."
"do you possibly have blue roses?" she asks softly and adds "The flowers are for a school dance" she smiles and smells a flower that is closest to her
"I'm sorry honey, blue roses are out of season right now, but in a week we might be getting some in." she says softly feeling bad
"no ma'am that is ok, ill be more than happy to come back next week. the school dance doesn't start till two weeks" she bows politely "thank you for helping me though"
The shop owner bows back "No, thank you. For being so nice and polite, It's hard to come across kids with some respect." she chuckles softly "but be safe on the way home"
She smiles softly and nods "You too ma'am, ill see you next week." she starts walking out of the store, she slowly walks along the sidewalk enjoying the breeze
Ironically she was enjoying her last moments without knowing
Out of no where someone snatches her, and pulls her into the alleyway.
Knocking her out and stripping her for money. When the person sees her resisting they panic and start stabbing her so she doesn't scream.
"oh shit!" he says panicking "Just die, it'll be easier. I cant go back to jail!" The man exclaimed, he grabs her things and starts running.
Her breathing is slow and weak as she was left for dead, her eyes threatening to close. Her stomach bleeds like a fountain on a sunny day "i-is… this really it? Is this how I end?" she weakly whispers to herself and her breathing slowly stops…
Her once humming and planning for prom is now dead wanting to live.
But even life can surprise you..
Chapter 2- 'Green haired woman' 2
Her eyes slowly open, her vision is blurry like she is dizzy but without the feeling. All she is muffled but loud talking.
She blinks desperate to see but her eyes wont clear up. After a few minutes that feel like a lifetime she can finally see.
Her eyes widen as she sees a green haired woman cradling her, her mind races with confusion and weakness. Barley able to move, she tries to talk but it only comes out as baby babble.
As she was getting even more confused and frustrated, the doctor came in holding a baby boy with green nature like hair.
"Ma'am, you son and daughter are both healthy and ready to be named" he says with his professional tone playing through the room
Inko looks down at brook with a soft mother like care, her tears still falling "brook" she whispers "Brook Midoriya and Izuku Midoriya… My beautiful and strong children." she says with a soft and tired expression now cradling both of her children
The doctor nods and walks out to grab the paper work and returns
Inko fills the paperwork for her newborn children's names and birth
Meanwhile brook is looking at her brother, Izuku. She is still puzzled "WHAT THE HELL?!?!" she thought to herself "Am I dreaming? I could've swore I was just walking home."
After a few hours Inko was released and her friend, Mitsuki drove her home. The car ride was long and quiet. Inko asleep in the passenger seat, Mitsuki focused on the road, Izuku asleep too, and brook… Was wide awake and pissed.
Chapter 3 - 'My Story To Greatness' 3
-It has been 4 years since my birth. My questions, worries, or concerns have yet to be answered.
-Mom is as nice as she was in the anime… But its still hard to take in, I was reincarnated in my favorite anime…
Brook is sitting on the back porch admiring the bright blue sky " me and Izuku haven't gotten our quirks yet, ill probably be just like him in the anime." she says to herself, her tone is barley above a whisper but it speaks louder than words of what she knows.
Izuku screams, not a playful kid scream. The kind of scream that makes your skin crawl. She immediately gets up and runs inside and to his room, Inko does the same. She slams the door open "DEKU!!" she says her eyes wide…
This is odd… How come Deku has a Quirk? He wasn't supposed to get a Quirk.
Inko's eyes widen and her tears silently fall "I-Izuku… My baby, you got your quirk. I'm so proud."
There Izuku was, in his room floating as fire balls float beside him. His eyes wide and filled with tears "Sissy, mommy.." he says with a happy but trembling voice
Brooks eyes soften and she makes herself smile proudly despite the confusion she is feeling "My little brother has a hero quirk mommy! That's so cool!" she smiles big
Inko's tears dry and she smiles and holds Deku as he floats in place "My little hero's" she says proudly
Chapter 4- "Fate" 4
It has now been 11 years, both twins are now 15. Brook hasn't received their Quirk yet.
Middle school reaches its peak near the end of the school year. Until high school. But her story is just like Deku's in the anime.
Bakugo bullies her, she writes in her notebooks about hero combat techniques, ninja hero styles, defense tactics, All Might notes and theories, and plenty more notes about a lot of hero's, mainly All Might.
Even though Bakugo is a jerk to her and bully's her she cant help but feel bad and feel a small sense of relatability. She grew up playing with him, as soon as he got his quirk as kids he… Changed, a lot.
Description on Brook:
She has long green fluffy hair, messy cute curls, her teeth are sharp, her eyes are a light shade of light and dark green combined, she has the same freckles as Deku, she is a little curvy (noting drastic), she is 4'4", she is very distant and doesn't speak much, she isn't rude or dismissive, her makeup and clothes style is grunge (a mixture of emo and normal, you can say), her brother Deku is a little popular due to his Quirk but has her back no matter what, Inko helps brook mentally due to not having a Quirk but brook doesn't mind.
Class ends and she gathers her things with her head phones on, once her backpack is on she heads to the door. But Bakugo blocks her path with a smug grin.
"where do you think your going extra?" He stood tall with this look of indifference and pride on his face "The teacher said you signed up for UA. Now, why would a damn extra like you sign up?! You're a Quirkless freak and a fangirl."
She looks at him unfazed and sighs "I got to go" she mumbles and walks around him. Clearly not amused with his aggressive nature.
Bakugo grits his teeth and whips around, tiny explosions start to sparkle in his hands with anger " your just a mistake, someone not meant to live in this world. Do us all a favor, and swan dive off of the roof. Damn extra" he says in a raised tone glaring at her back as she walks
She sighs "maybe I will, your my thirteenth reason why." she puts her headphones back on and play Billie Eilish's old album as she walks away
Bakugo just stands there filled with rage but his friends seem used to this and laughs "hey Bakugo lets just go check out that new arcade" his friend says in a laid back tone
Bakugo grits his teeth "whatever" he mumbles
Brook starts walking on the sidewalk on the way home, her brother has an after school program to attend to.
" I guess this is my cruel… fate" she says to herself clearly used to all of this, but she doesn't wallow in sadness or pity
About ten minutes later a sludge villain appears behind her yet she is completely unaware
The next second the villain's sludge wraps around her and cackles "look what we have here, a weird emo girl" he laughs manically
Her feet dangle from being held in the air and she moves one earphone from her ear "ugh" she says with a disgusted look on her face "Your either a creep or a very mentally unstable villain"
The sludge villain's eyes widen with anger "you brat! You need to shut up. Better yet" his sludge mouth slowly twists into a menacing cruel smile "ill use you as a puppet and enter your body"
Her eyes widen and she try's to get out of his sludge grasp by clawing at his sludge "GET OFF OF ME!!" she yells anger and a flicker of fear
As the villain gets ready to follow through with his words, All Might appears flying directly to the villain holding out his fist "I am here!" his words book as he makes contact with the villain and the sludge villain splatters every where from the powerful blow.
Her eyes widen and she blows back from the impact and lands on her feet from the defensive techniques she learned "All might?" she looks surprised and relieved
All Might starts gathering the sludge villain in the bottles "Ah, yes I didn't see you there. I hope your ok kid." he says with his signature smile
She shakes her head slightly "Nah, I'm ok. I didn't quite expect you to show up. But thanks, makes me feel more relived." she bows politely
All Might waves dismissively "No need to bow, its my job. But I do have a question kid." he says his voice carrying a curious tone
She raises an eyebrow "you can ask" she stands back up straight
All might keeps a respectful tone "Why didn't you use your Quirk to try and fight him off, is your quirk not in the attack part?" he asks
She sighs used to this question "I'm Quirkless, the top 30%. I tried to escape his grasp, his sludge was kind of too much" she puts her backpack back on
His eyes widen a little "Quirkless?" he thinks "I'm sorry to hear kid.. Just try to be careful next time. This world holds many possibilities and chances" he smiles
Her fists tighten at her sides "Can I still be a hero even if I have no Quirk? Can I hope to be like you one day?" her voice holds determination but she needs reassurance or advice
All Might's smile shrinks a little "yes, you can be a cop or even a nurse. Cops may not do much but they still help. Nurses save lives, so they are hero's in a way" He says, deep down she sees himself in her, when he was once Quirkless but he cant say anything
The bottle with the sludge villain in it falls out of his pocket but they both don't see it
"Even if I cant be a hero like you, I'm still going to try. The people need another symbol. The symbol of hope, someone who can defy the laws of hope and judgement" she says fully determined her eyed have a burning fire in them "And when I become that hero, I wish to work by your side. The two symbols bringing hope to the scared citizens"
All Might's eyes widen and he smiles a little "We will see, in the meantime good luck." he waves and takes off
She stands there her eyes a little misty "I will become a hero one way or another." she whispers and starts walking
20 minutes later people swarm and watches a villain encounter, she notices and makes her way over there
She pushes her way to the front and pulls out her notebook to make notes… Then she freezes as she sees the sludge villain has his sludge form absorbing Bakugo.
Bakugo's mouth is covered by sludge as the villain pushes its sludge in his mouth. But Bakugo is too stubborn to accept this and keeps spitting it out. Only Bakugo's face is visible, pain and a hint of fear is visible on his face
Brooks eyes are wide open and her body completely starts moving on its own, she races and skillfully dodges the hero's, every hero she has studied is paying off right now. She rips her backpack open as she runs and grabs her other notebook and throws it at the sludge villain's sludge face
The sludge villains face contorts in anger "the hell?"
She climbs up the sludge to Bakugo and rips the sludge off of his mouth
Bakugo gasps for air "What the hell! Get out of here you damn nerd!" His voice isn't rude or harsh, this time its fearful
"I couldn't just stand back and watch you die Kacchan" she says clawing at the sludge villain
Meanwhile all might was in his shrunken normal guy form watching with his fists in tight fists by his side
All Might's eyes widen "That… That kid" He thinks to himself his expression is surprised and worried "Is that kid stupid, she's going to get killed-.. What am I saying? That kid… Just risked her life" He thinks to himself " he rushes to an alleyway to transform
-All Might transforms to his muscular form
He rushes out his speed is a blur, almost like a smudge moving. He holds his fist out and aims for the sludge villain "CALIFORNIA SMASH!!" His punch creates a strong and powerful wind causing the rain to stop and the dark clouds move from the force showing the clear sky.
Brook catches Bakugo and shields his face from any eyes or cameras, she tries too catch her breath "Holy… Shit." she says between breaths
Bakugo is unconscious from shock, the ambulance and cops immediately show up and rush out to assist the situation
The paramedics take Bakugo and brook sits on the pavement, her elbows on her knees as she holds her face. The adrenalin now disappearing.
MT Lady shrinks from her giant form and walks to Brook "Hey kid, you could've died. Try not to get in the next time." she says impressed and a bit worried
Brook slowly looks up from her hands "Yea, don't worry I wont." she sighs
After the situation and lectures from the hero's and cops her expression stays stoic and tired. She finally starts walking home "Why did I do that? Why did I act like a hero when I know I'm not. Hell, I don't even have a quirk.
A few minutes later Bakugo stomps to Brook "Hey nerd!" his voice is loud and agitated and he grabs Brook by her shirt and yanking her "Listen here! I don't owe you anything, act hero all you want but you will never be one."
She sighs too tired to care or argue "Glad to see your doing better Kacchan." she mumbles
He scoffs and releases her roughly "Stay out of my way Brook, I will show you how good I am by becoming number one." he says coldly and storms off leaving brook confused
She yawns, bags under her eyes from stress and lack of sleep and she walks inside of her house where her mom and brother are worried sick
Deku immediately rushes to the door and opens it to see her and her drained face, he wants to scold her but cant "Welcome home… Hero" he smiles and hugs her "I'm still a little mad, but ill be proud for now'
She closes her eyes and leans in the hug "Thanks bubba" she mumbles completely tired
Her mom, Inko rushes to the door with tears in her eyes "My baby!" she hugs them both "I almost had a heart attack watching the news… please please don't do that again. I cant handle scares like that" Inko whispers as she quietly sobs while holding her two children
"I'm sorry mom." she whispers and holds them "I wont."
Later that night Brook and her family talked about what happened that whole day

But little did they all know, life is going to change completely
Chapter 5- 'My New Path' 5
Brooks day starts off normal, but she starts writing a letter for UA about why she should join and what she dreams to do to chance the world. She pours her heart out on the paper
Letter: Hello UA, my name is Brook Midoriya. I am not just another person in the world waiting for a change, I want to make the change by my own actions. I was born with my twin brother, Deku Midoriya. He and I dream to do the same things in the world. To make every person no matter the race, quirk, job, villain or not, we want to make them all feel safe. Not for fame, money, or attention. We both want to be the symbol of hope and impossibility. I want to be the change in the worlds everyday turn. We want to fight alongside the hero's and hold our hand out to the weak and hurt. If not for All Might, I wouldn't be writing this letter.. He makes everyone smile, But yet I cant smile. I want that to change, I want to learn how to smile while learning how to be a hero for the ones a care about and for the ones that have no one to protect. Again, my name is Brook Midoriya. The worlds future hero no matter the position. Thank you for reading this and taking your time to listen to my dream and story. I wish for your health to increase and for your safety to remain well.

After she wrote the letter she put it is a card sleeve and headed out on her skateboard, cruising Through the side walk to the post office
She pulls up to the post office and walks in smelling the cleanness of the post office and she walks up to the counter "hello ma'am, can you stamp this and send it off to UA?" she asks her tone respectful
The young lady nods "I sure can" she takes the letter and stamps it and writes the address on it and puts it into a delivery bag "UA huh? That's one good school for hero's."
Brook nods "I may have a small chance of getting in with no Quirk but I wont stop trying." she leans against the counter and sighs
The young woman's eyes widen "No Quirk?! I've never met someone without one. I'm sorry to hear." she looks like she feels bad
Brook looks at her expression, knowing the look too well. The look that makes you feel like you just told them you have a rare disease. Acting as if it's contagious.
Brook nods and leans off the counter "yea, I guess." she runs a hand through her hair "Stay safe ill take my leave." she walks out and skateboards to the beach leaving the woman with a concerned look on her face
-Brook makes it to the completely trashed beach that looks like a dumpster on a Friday. And grits her teeth
"This is absolutely unacceptable." she pulls her phone out and texts her mom "hey mom, ill be back late. I'm at the beach training" she sends the message to her mom
She takes her jacket off and ties her hair back, she is now in her All Might tee-shirt with her hair in a secure bun. She sighs "Lets get to work."
She starts working on the beach, picking up all of the trash and throwing it in the dumpsters. An hour later almost two dumpsters are filled up. She drinks some water and a Gatorade to help her vitamin intake and her hydration
All Might has been watching for a while, surprised by her strength and her selflessness. He starts thinking
Brook doesn't know he is there, she continues working. She moves onto the scrap metal, dragging and carrying them to put them neatly in the metal area for recycling.
She looks at the now clean beach and she feels at peace "I swear if I catch those trouble makers I'm going to give them a good talking to" she whispers to herself and sits on the sand she sighs
All Might walks into view "I don't blame you, kids are very scandalous these days."
She doesn't look surprised "I was wondering when you would come out from your hiding spot."
He grunts "I thought I was being quiet." he laughs heartly "You have sharp instincts "Though I do want to say, that was very selfless of you to clean up the beach. You tend to surprise me" he says with his signature smile
She sips her water "I think with my head and my heart. I've learned to trust my instincts. Though, I guess you've picked up on that." she sets her water down and looks at him "Why do you keep popping up around me?"
His face turns a little serious "I have been thinking lately that I should pass something onto a person." he says and looks at her with a serious but confident look in his eyes "Brook, what if there was a way for you to become a hero…. With a quirk?"
Her eyes widen, remembering from the anime and what this means "All Might, what are you trying to say?" she gives him a serious look in her eyes, understanding the gravity of the situation.
All might holds out his hand as a light shines in his hand "I posses a quirk called… 'One For All', a Quirk passed down from generations. Used to bring down the darkness." she smiles confidently "Tell me Brook, will you carry on this Quirk to take down the darkness hidden in the world?"
Her eyes widen and she looks at the light and thinks.
After a moment she stands up "If your willing to entrust me with this Quirk, then yes. I'll kick some ass to save the people who don't have a person to look to. Thank you." she bows deeply
All Might laughs loudly and heartly "That's it young Brook! Feel the future, the past, and the present. Take in the moment and make sure you want this" he says wanting to make sure she wants this."
She nods "I accept"
-All Might pulls a hair off his head and smiles big
"Eat this!" he says momentarily oblivious in the moment
She freezes and slowly scoots away "ew"
He realizes " You have to-"
She cuts him off " I know I know, I was just playing" she takes the hair and swallows it, after a few minutes "I feel like the hair is just making me feel hungry."
He chuckles "It works differently for others, Just be careful." he checks the time "It's 2 A.M. you should head home now young brook" he turns to leave but stops "You'll change the world one day, I know it." he takes off in his signature fast but heroic way
She watches him take off then looks at the ocean "This is my new path."
Chapter 6 'The test' 6
-Brook hasn't felt the power yet, as two weeks past and middle school comes to a slow end one day it… awakens
Brook was chilling on the roof alone listening to music as she ate her sushi, she hums "Damn, mom made some good sushi" She says, momentarily enjoying the food. She swallows and sets her food down, feeling like someone is watching her. She stands up "who's there?" she asks, her instincts kicking in.
Bakugo walks to her with a pissed expression, and stomps closer to her "you've been acting all weird, why?." He demands
She looks at him and crosses her arms "Why should I Bakugo?" she sighs "I don't owe you any type of explanation."
He looks at her like she just insulted his bloodline "What did you just say?" his eyes darken with anger and he lunges at her feeling disrespected
Her body suddenly has green electricity crackling around her and she dodges quickly and her eyes widen as the Quirk finally shows through
Bakugo freezes like he just seen a ghost "what…. What the hell?!"
She looks at Bakugo with conflict in her eyes "Bakugo we need to talk. I'm being serious." her voice is a little soft with seriousness "about us"
He tenses, not fully wanting to talk "Whatever, spit it out already.. I don't have all day."
she nods and takes a deep breath "We should stop speaking to each other entirely. I'm moving forward in life, I don't need this. We used to be… best friends, but your power and the praise changed you Kacchan." her expression turns serious "I wish you luck on your path, I really do. We will talk until the next time we see each other in a respectful manner."
Bakugo is completely frozen and clenches his hands into fists at his sides and he swallows his anger "Fine, brook." he looks at her "The next time we meet.. Things will be different, but your my rival no matter what. I will beat you in every way." he says with determination and a little anger
She nods "have a good summer" she walks away
Bakugo is left there pissed, confused (by her sudden Quirk), but oddly determined.
