Chapter 1 - Brother, run!

(I added an auxiliary chapter, check it out!)

Swoooosh!

Sounds of sharp wind blew across the clear spot in the garden, the night was starless, and the moon cast so much light that one might think it was daytime.

Under the night sky, Karok, the youngest General amongst the seven Generals that ruled the Skrivas race, sat on the floor in a garden, his eyes closed and legs crossed as mana swirled visibly around him.

Time continued to pass as the mana in the surroundings rushed into Karok's body like a fierce tide and drilled into his core, which was already considered one of the strongest.

He was currently a Tier one dominator which was the strongest level of strength in his race, but as the humans would call it, a stage 10 warrior; he was already at the pinnacle of all existence in all 3 realms.

After five hours had passed, a cracking sound resounded from within his core, and a powerful aura exploded outward, sending out a violent shockwave that swept away everything in the garden.

Karok opened his eyes at this moment, he stood up and looked at his four arms, folding and unfolding his eight palms.

He looked different from humans, after all, he wasn't human.

He was a member of the mighty Skrivalok race that invaded and captured Earth, currently occupying it.

"The ancient scriptures were right, there is a higher rank beyond Tier one. I have only gotten a glimpse of it, yet I feel so powerful already, ten of my former selves would definitely not be a match for the current me!" Karok mumbled to himself, a tinge of excitement rocking within him.

He immediately left the ruined garden and shot into the night sky like a star, quickly disappearing into the distance.

He was on his way to inform the other six Generals of his race. Although he was currently the strongest, he was still very young and didn't have much experience compared to the other. Being barely a hundred years old, he still had a lot to learn.

If the other Generals who were already over five hundred years old learned of his progress, it would bring more changes to the Skrivas race and help them conquer more planets!

Karok's flying speed was extremely fast as he covered hundreds of miles in mere seconds, he soon landed in front of a huge palace that used to be the palace of this continent's emperor but was now being occupied by the Generals of his race.

Landing in front of the palace, the two Skrivaloks who were guarding at the front door made a greeting gesture as he walked in.

Just after walking in, a figure appeared in front of him. A humanoid physique but with green scales covering her entire body, four hands, and a human-like face with several green tendrils sticking out from the back of her head, it was his junior sister.

"Sister, what are you doing here?" Karok asked while approaching his sister, he was happy to see her here since he had come with good news. In terms of his race, his sister was considered a world-class beauty.

The more tendrils a female had, the more good-looking they were; male Skrivaloks didn't have tendrils at the back of their heads.

But seems like his sister was too happy to see him.

"Brother, run!" She screamed before dashing toward him and slamming her palms into his chest, trying to launch him out of the palace.

Bam!

Her palms rammed into Karok's body, and a loud sound rang out as the ground under his feet collapsed, but he didn't even move back by a single step; his sister's strength as a Tier 7 dominator wasn't enough to push him.

"What are you doing?" Karok asked with a confused tone while staring at his sister. She was his only family left in this world, and they were always so close; her sudden hostile attitude surprised him.

"Oh no!" His sister exclaimed in despair when she couldn't push Karok out with her attack, her eyes were glowing faintly which meant that she was using her powers.

Karok noticed this as well and grew more confused. His sister was an oracle and was able to peek into the future, but at a high price; she was part of the reason why their conquest through the third realm had been successful.

"Did you see something?" He asked.

But before his sister could say a word, a strange feeling enveloped the entire palace. Karok felt it and lifted his head to look up, he saw six other Skrivaloks descending from the top of the palace from six different directions around them.

They were the other six Generals of the Skrivas race.

"It's too late. I'm sorry, brother. I should have seen it sooner." Karok's sister dropped to her knees and began to sob.

Karok was still confused.

"What's happening? What is the meaning of this?" He roared at the six Generals surrounding them.

He was here to deliver news of him reaching the rank above tier one dominator, but it felt like he had entered a trap of an enemy instead.

"We know why you are here, Karok, we have been keeping close eyes on you." One of the six Generals voiced out.

"I knew this day would come. However, it's not a waste of effort. The benefits of raising you have been claimed, we have no more use for you as you've grown too powerful."

"First, you demanded that the humans be allowed to live and used as slaves instead of annihilating them as we used to, what would you demand next if we continue to let you grow stronger?"

"If a pet becomes too powerful for the owner to control, it's only natural to get rid of it; this is your end, Karok!"

The six Generals said one after another as they gazed at Karok with cold eyes.

Karok was shocked and stared at them in disbelief, unable to believe what he heard. They were afraid of him because he was getting stronger than them and now wanted to get rid of him?

"What nonsense? I'm a General of the Skrivaloks as well. I will never do something to dishonour my race!" Karok shouted in protest.

"Your talent alone scares us, we only made you one of us so we could use you efficiently. Now, it's time for you to die." One of the Generals said expressionlessly.

Karok's eyes widened in fury upon hearing this, he turned silent for a bit before suddenly exploding with rage.

"How dare you!"

Boom!

His feet caused the ground to collapse further as he tried to unleash his strength, but his face was soon overcome with shock after finding out that he couldn't use his mana; his core had turned lifeless.

"W-what is this?!" Karok stuttered in horror as he looked at his palms. The ground had only collapsed just now because of his body's physical strength; his mana wasn't working.

"It's no use, we already prepared for this in advance and had set up a formation. Only those below the Tier One dominator rank can use mana." One of the Generals informed while lifting his hands, two long golden spears appeared in two of his hands, their tips glowing with red light.

Without wasting time, he threw one of the spears at Karok.

Boom!

The spear flew out with a violent boom, breaking the speed barrier and reaching Karok almost instantly.

However, before it could reach him, a figure jumped in front of him.

It was his junior sister!

The spear stabbed into her from behind before the force from the impact crashed her into Karok, both of them were sent flying like meteorites and smashed through the palace wall.

They crashed into the ground outside the palace. Karok was hugging his sister's body and trying to protect her from the flying rocks.

"Sister?!" Karok called out after getting up, ignoring the wounds on his body. He looked at his sister's body, the spear had passed through her body and red marks quickly spread through her body.

"Brother, I'm…sorry, I couldn't be of help to you." She said in a strained tone, blood gushing out from her mouth as her eyelids trembled.

"No, no! Stay with me, please!" Karok shouted.

However, his line of sight was suddenly covered by a foot.

Bang!

It crashed into Karok's face and everything went dark as he passed out instantly.

The six Generals walked to where Karok's body had landed after he was kicked unconscious, one of them held his sister's lifeless body.

Staring down at his motionless body, none of them had a tinge of regret about what they had done.

"You were a good tool to our race, your name will be remembered even after your death."

"His sister didn't need to die, though; her oracle ability could still be used."

"It's no use grieving about it, the pair of siblings were too close since they had only each other. Did you think that she would continue to help us after we killed her brother?"

"What now? Should we kill him right now or still the execution plan?"

"Let's cripple him and send him to the humans, let him see if they will remember his kindness of sparing their pitiful l

ives or they'll take out their frustration on him."

"Heh, beg the humans for mercy? That's if they don't tear him to shreds first."
