Chapter 23 - The Hyperion Royal Family

He sat on the edge of the bed and glanced toward the Elf. There was a clear fear in his eyes.

Victor clenched his fist and calmed himself a little.

"Dammit!" He muttered under his breath with gritted teeth.

I'm…sorry, let's introduce ourselves first." Victor said to him.

The Elf hesitated, with clear fear in his eyes. He gulped and, straightening up, he slid forward at the edge. His hands were still shaking, and his eyes filled with unshed tears.

"My name is Victor Hans. What is yours?" He asked, leaning forward a little.

" Lu..Luke Adonis," He replied to Victor hesitantly.

Victor's brows furrowed at the smooth and silky voice again. He sighed and nodded toward Luke.

"What were you saying before Luke?" Victor asked.

Luke's eyes drifted toward Victor's shoes. Victor raised his eyebrows.

"You…were wearing shoes on the bed. Mother says it's a bad habit." Luke replied, little encouraged.

"Ohh!" Victor looked at his shoes and his lips twitched, forming into a smile.

He nodded toward Luke and took off the shoes and slumped back on the bed.

"Goodnight, Luke. It was nice meeting you. But I have been through a lot, and I have many things to process. So please don't disturb me." Victor said, closing his eyes.

Luke nodded and stood up, turning out the lamp.

'What were these doors leading to dorm rooms? Why would my System react to those doors? Does everyone's system act like mine? Not only that, it even rewarded me with CP. Was it trying to tell me that there's something important about the doors?'

Victor pondered many things that seemed mysterious and weird to him.

Tomorrow is training at 6:00 am and breakfast at 7-8 am. I have to wake up early.

I hope no one can detect that I'm a Vampire. I think the system is helping me in some way.'

Meanwhile, in the dorm room of Gaia's blessed…

"Hello, my name is Kate Hyperion, the youngest princess of the Hyperion royal family." An excited, high-pitched voice came from a girl standing before Zara.

She was wearing a tight blue uniform, with her back completely open, her refined muscles of the back exposed before Zara's wide eyes.

Kate's dark, straight hair and crimson eyes gave her an otherworldly charm.

"Princess!" Zara exclaimed.

Kate nodded with a smile.

"I like your blue hair," Kate replied, looking at Zara's short, spiky blue hair.

Zara came back to her senses; a blush crept on her cheeks.

She replied, embarrassed, "Ahh... sorry…my name is Zara Quinn from Elarion City."

"I heard you guys encountered a Chaos Alien. How was it?" Kate shouted excitedly and stepped closer, grabbing Zara's arm.

Zara winced at the loud sound of Kate from such close range.

But the smile on Zara's face didn't falter, "it was… dangerous. We almost died, …your highness." Zara replied hesitantly, unable to find the proper words.

"Don't call me your highness or princess, just call me Kate, after all, we are dorm mates." Kate's loud and energetic voice pricked the ears of Zara again.

Zara flinched but didn't back away.

She nodded, "Okay, K…Kate."

Kate smiled, "That's what I'm talking about."

"Now, come tell me about the Elarion city, your encounter with the Alien in detail." She dragged Zara to her bed, asking several questions in one breath.

The Hyperion Royal family, the ruler of the Holy Capital. King Hyperion the IV had four children. Two sons and two daughters.

It was said that the Hyperion family was descended from the Goddess Gaia.

Far away from Zara and Kate's dorm room, in the dorm rooms of the ones blessed by the lower gods.

The Green emerald eyes snapped open, and Luke sat up on the bed. He looked outside the window; the sky had already started turning white. Luke stepped out of the bed and moved out of the room.

The corridor was darker, with dim lights coming from torches burning on the walls. He walked toward the end of the corridor. He reached a black wooden door in the wall. He extended his hand toward the handle.

Click-

Creakkkkkkkk

The Door's creaking sound echoed in the quiet corridor. Luke stepped inside

Splash!

His slippers made a sound against the wet floor. He looked around the resting room. There were several cubicles made with white wooden walls, and a large, dirty glass stood on the opposite wall.

A few minutes later, Luke stepped out of the restroom and went back. As he entered the room, he noticed Victor still sleeping.

He sighed and went near his bed, calling in a whisper, "Vic…Victor."

Snap!

Victor's eyes opened wide, and he jerked upward, grabbing Luke by the throat in a flash.

Luke's eyes widened, he tried to back away, but to no avail, Victor's reflexes and strength were many times higher.

Luke's face scrunched up in pain as Victor's grip became tighter.

Luke grabbed Victor's hand and tried to pull it away, but he wasn't able to.

"Vic…Victor!" A hoarse and choked sound escaped from Luke's lips as he struggled to get free from the iron-like grip.

Victor's eyes glowed dimly with a golden light, and a pale, expressionless face made him scarier.

Luke struggled for a breath, unable to get free from Victor's grip.

'I'm going to die if he doesn't let go. Luke thought.
