"I know Alphas' are usually so horny, but yours is on a different level, Lucien," Lyanna trailed off with nervous laughter.
They had just finished their final round of hard sex.
The night was in full bloom, the birds were melodiously singing on the trees, the scents of the flowers filled the air, insects chirped as if in contest with the song of the birds, rodents ran about free and wild, not caring if any prey was close.
Lyanna and Lucien lay on the grass, both watching the stars.
"You're impossible. Where did you hear that?" Lucien grabbed her arm, pulling her closer to his bosom.
"It's common knowledge sweetheart," she placed her hands over her mouth, chuckling.
"I love you so much Lyanna, I can't wait till you'd have a baby for me," he leaned in closer placing a kiss on her forehead.
The expression on her face darkened, her eyes drooping as she slightly pulled away, "I love you too Lucien, but.."
He sighed heavily, "It's your father, isn't it?"
She nodded, "He's been hammering on the danger of the werewolves, and have forbidden we even cross paths. He'd kill me if he found out I was here."
Lucien sat up, "Then run away with me. I can't lose you Lyanna, and I don't want any barrier between us."
She looked at him with sad, almost large puppy eyes, "I'm still trying to prepare. I just can't run away, he'll definitely find me."
"Who?"
"My father, of course," she groaned as she also sat up beside him.
There was silence for a while, awkward silence.
"Why exactly is this hatred among us? What exactly caused this spite?" He held his head.
"Funny now they never mention what exactly caused all these," she rolled her eyes, snaking her hands around his neck.
He wrapped his hands around her waist, pulling her flush against his bosom, "Lyanna," he sighed, melting into her embrace.
"I love you so much my darling, may we be together until a thousand lifetimes."
"I love you too, Lucien, more than words could ever describe."
The remaining few moments were spent in silence, with one enjoying the other's embrace.
"Hmm, I think I should start going back now. Hopefully, no one has noticed my absence," she pulled away from him.
His face dropped, "Alright then, see you tomorrow by this same time then?"
She leaned forward, then pecked his cheeks, "Definitely."
"I love you so much."
"I love you too," she giggled behind her hands.
The bushes behind them rustled loudly, twigs snapped, and heavy thudding footsteps could be heard inching closer to where they sat.
Lyanna's heart sank, "What the hell?"
Armed men broke out of their hiding, each of them holding a sword and a torch on the right hand. Within minutes, they had surrounded Lyanna and Lucien.
"What is going on?" He asked.
"Lyanna?" A gruff voice interrupted the moment.
Her jaws slacked, recognizing who stood behind them.
The person she dreaded most. Her father, the Fae king.
"F- father?" Her eyes diluted, her lips trembling as she struggled to speak.
His eyes fell on a shocked Lucien who sat beside Lyanna frozen.
"You! How dare you touch my daughter, you beast!" He charged at Lucien.
"Father, no! Leave him alone!" She shrieked as she rushed quickly to Lucien's front.
"Get out of the way Lyanna, this beast deserves to die. Seize him!"
The guards immediately grabbed Lucien away from a screaming Lyanna.
"No! No! Lucien! Leave him alone!" She shrieked, running towards him, but her father yanked her back.
"You will not take a step towards him!" He threatened.
Tears streamed down her pretty face, she fell to her knees, grabbing her father's leg.
"Father please! Don't harm him, just let him go, I swear we won't see each other again, just let him go!"
"Reports have been reaching me you were always sneaking out. So you kept crossing those borders just to meet with him?!"
Lucien tried to speak up, but a guard immediately gagged him with a thick piece of cloth.
"He is my mate father! I love him!" She yelled.
He gritted his teeth, clenching his jaws so hard it looked like all his teeth would break under all those pressures.
"He is dying tonight, I don't care what you think Lyanna," he scoffed.
With that, he drew out his sword. It was a poisoned, silver double-edged sword.
"He ought to die. He will not live to see another night."
Lyanna screamed when she saw the sword, "No! No! Father stop it!" She grabbed his legs again.
"I'm swearing with my life, I will never see him again, just let him go!" She sobbed loudly.
"Come get her off me!" He yelled at his guards.
Two hefty guards came to grab her hands, leaving her to struggle in midair.
"Lucien! Lucien! Nooo!" She yelled into the night.
Lucien tried to break free, but unfortunately for him the guards had already cast a spell on him causing him to freeze in his spot.
"This will teach all those beast friends of yours to leave our kind alone! What happened before won't happen again!"
"I hereby pronounce a curse upon you. There shall be so much hatred between you both, whether in the next life, or another to come. You shall never look each other in the eye, or stay in the same room. Even if you both are ever reincarnated, you both shall hate each other so much till your graves."
Saying these words, he drove the sword into Lucien's chest with one brutal stab.
"Lucien! Lucien!" She screamed so loud it shook the ground where she was being carried.
"Learn to stay away from my daughter!"
He stuck it through his throat till it came out the other side.
Without giving him time to register, he pulled it out again, then stabbed him over and over once more in the same wound on his chest.
Satisfied, he pulled away.
The guards who held him let him alone, leaving him to drop to the ground.
Lyanna went numb with shock as she watched Lucien drop to the ground.
The earth stopped rotating, time went still, everything stopped to matter in that space of time.
"Aghhhhh!"
With an unexplainable force, she pushed the guards who were holding her captive away, so hard.
"Lucien! Lucien!" She ran towards his body, pushing her father out of the way.
Lucien barely had any life in him, his throat had already been stabbed so he couldn't speak, he just stared at her with love in his eyes.
"Lucien, please, please don't die, stay with me."
She tried to cast a spell to relieve his wounds, but none of it was working.
"Did you seriously think your spells would work against mine?" Her father asked mockingly.
She dropped her head on his chest, "Lucien, no."
He made some incoherent noises which she couldn't understand.
"I hereby bless us. We will definitely meet again, even ina thousand lifetimes. Our love shall be so strong it will break any hatred in our hearts," her sobs broke her sentence.
"May we be together until a thousand lifetimes," she kissed his forehead.
He managed to smile one last smile at her before his eyes closed shut.
"Lucien!!!!" She screamed falling at his side.
"Tsk, he was never worthy of you Lyanna, let's leave from here."
With a flick of her hand, all the heads of the guards exploded, the remains sticking to the grass.
"Lyanna?"
She finally turned to him. Her eyes were blazing red, she was foaming at the mouth, and she was levitating.
"Die."
"Lyanna.." he gasped, his eyes popping out of his sockets.
Before he knew what was happening, his face began to twist, his skin was tearing away from his face, an invisible force was slowly plucking out his eyes.
His stomach burst open, exposing his intestines. His lower body was cut away from his body, while his face continued to twist until it exploded. Blood spewed everywhere except on her levitating self.
Dropping to the ground with a sob, she reached for her father's sword.
With teary eyes, she looked towards the body of Lucien lying beside her.
Not thinking twice, she stabbed herself with it, the sword sticking out on her other side, and she dropped to
the ground.
"May we be together until a thousand lifetimes."
