Harry Potter: Shadow Guide

The story takes place in 1980, following main character Marcus Thark — born on July 8, 1980 — as he begins his first year at Hogwarts. Quiet, observant, and raised in an old, wealthy household shaped by alchemy and subtle magic. This is a fanfiction set in the world of Harry Potter, offering a darker, more grounded perspective. In later chapters, we’ll meet the main characters whose paths cross with Marcus’s — each with their own ambitions, fears, and pasts. It's my first time writing, which is why the chapters are taking a while to finish. I chose to create a fanfic instead of building a completely new world, since I'm still learning.
