Circa 43 A.D., just a decade after the resurrection of Christ…
Long ago, when the wounds of the crucifixion were still fresh in the memories of men, and whispers of the risen Messiah echoed through the lands, there was a kingdom untouched by the light — a dark, cold land known as Narva. Hidden deep in the Eastern realms, beyond the reach of Roman maps and the sermons of apostles, Narva was ruled by a queen whose name brought dread to even the bravest of tongues — Queen Shira the Hollow.
Shira was no ordinary monarch. Her heart pulsed with a hatred so deep, it scorched the name of God from every parchment and prayer in her dominion. With armies forged in blood and fire, she conquered nations, enslaved tribes, and crushed every ember of faith. Her obsession with silencing the Word of God was more than tyranny — it was war against the divine.
But Heaven watches.
And Heaven remembers.
In the forty-third year after Christ's resurrection, as the world began to awaken to grace, God stirred. The heavens split with thunder and light, and from the earth He called forth a servant — not an angel, nor a prophet, but a man. A warrior, born of dust, but filled with power not of this world. His name is lost to time, but his legacy endures.
This man — the First Guardian—was anointed by God to be His champion. With strength beyond human measure and a heart aligned with Heaven's will, he stormed the gates of Narva and faced the evil queen. Their battle raged like a storm, but evil could not overcome divine fire. When the dust settled, Shira fell, her reign ended, and the captives were free.
From that day forward, the mantle of Guardian was born — passed from one chosen soul to the next. For evil is not easily vanquished. From the ashes of ancient darkness rise beings known as Roaming Spirits. Some are pure, radiant beings called Blissful, and others, twisted and hateful, are called Cacodemons. Both wander the realms, invisible to the eyes of men, but not to the Guardians.
Generations have passed. Kingdoms have risen and fallen. Yet the Guardians remain.
Watching. Fighting. Protecting.
The war between light and darkness is far from over.
And a new chapter is about to begin...
