Monsters… every human being possesses a monster inside them, some of them embrace it and become that monster, while others hide them but…
That does not defy the fact that they still are the "monster".

Monsters can be very frightening to some, others do not believe in them.
But the monster I am talking about relies inside every single human. Doesn't matter how pure you are, you are not directly the son of god. Even the saints can commit greater sins. Even the hermits can be evil. Even the purest water has flaws, if it's too much it can kill you. Same law applies to every single thing in this entire universe.
But leaving that aside-
This is the world the monsters have created. And someone had to put an end to it, then there was I. The "Saviour". Or perhaps that's what they call me.
After remaining silent for a minute, I spoke up
Year 2063 November 28th.
It really was just a normal day for normal humans. Everyone was busy-
My phone suddenly started buzzing, it was a call from higher ups, I silenced the phone and tossed it aside
My apologies, the times have changed, emergency breakouts are common these days. Anyways as I was saying, it was a normal day until the great black out happened. With a big bang is pure strong white light covered the sky and-
"but you said black out"
Let me finish my sentences smart ass . And right after the bright light shattered Dark Blue coloured clouds covered the entire sky, devouring it like a hungry beast. The clouds were so thick that it almost seemed as if the world just turned black. It was so dense that even the sunlight couldn't pierce through it.
I stopped and then took a deep breath and continued
Thus we lost our energy source, the sun. Farming became 1000 times harder without the sun. It was when humanity started walking towards its devastating end. People all around the world panicked, some were praying to God, some were just barely surviving. Just when we thought we could get used to it, soon after this an unknown Virus showed up in the atmosphere of the earth. This Virus was strange. Something we had never seen before, at first people were dying from inhaling this Virus but later on we discovered something even more terrifying.
A gunshot sound occurred while I was talking
Sheesh the're killin' it ain't they
I laughed a little then–
The terrifying thing was the ones who get infection by the Virus could be categorised into 2 different types of people
1) those who are brain dead and turned into literal monster even physically
2) those who remain sane after the Virus took over them, and prevented themselves from turning into brian dead monsters.
All though this might look really sketchy but things did turn out like this. And now we had some "heroes" to get protected by. All politics if you ask me ugh
Rolling my eyes I said
The interesting thing is how their ability works. It's kind of hilarious that it's so similar to the thing we called "mana" from some magical mystical stories but this power is not mana, the main power source is their body's life energy, which also depends on your will power. The more you have will power the more you can get powerful. It's used as a battery you can say.
Oh oh and now! Now the most bizarre part. When a person is affected by this Virus, it first attacks your nervous system making you almost dead for half a day. The time limit is different for different peoples, some might awake after 2 mins, some after 2 days or even 2 months. Till then you are declared dead or atleast near dead. After regaining consciousness your body will start to adjust with your new abilities.
The way it works is like a feedback of your immune system upgrading your body for your good. The car can't run on the same old battery can it?
When the Virus takes over your brain it reaches the part of the brain that is responsible for thinking and keeping initial data of your body, it even messes up with your DNA altering your overall body structure.
As an example, me, it was a really hard time when I was first introduced to my power. It was like sooo fucking weird, as if I could talk to the Virus's consciousness. Maybe that's why some people lose it and some people just get along with it.
Another, if for example you, if your willpower is strong and you managed to get along with the Virus it would heal up your old injuries, even mental ones.
You can also get your own unique transformation if you reach a good level with your powers
Every ability is unique, for example one can generate glass from his own body using life energy within him. Isn't it so crazy? As for me, my ability is–

I gestured of thinking deep whole putting my finger into a position in my chin while looking down
Never mind whatever that was, I guess that wasn't important anyway~
Incase if you're wondering what my motives are. I just want to end this chaotic deepshit. Oh yes and I am sooooo gonna find the bastard who's behind this virus.
