Synopsis
Some legends are born twice. Others… refuse to die. Luciano Gravina was a modern-day mafioso obsessed with the anime Katekyo Hitman Reborn. Fueled by delusion and nostalgia, he resurrected the old mafia in Italy—only to destroy it with his own hands. Wracked with guilt, he faked his death… and his story should have ended there. But fate had other plans. Reborn as Giotto in the very world he once idolized, he became the founder of the Vongola Family. A hero. A leader. A man who died protecting what he built. But even death couldn’t contain his soul. Now, he awakens once more—this time in a new world, one untouched by chakra or shinobi. A child of five, burdened with the memories of two lives: the cunning of a modern criminal… and the heart of a man who forged a family out of necessity, not ambition. A new beginning. A fused soul. A legend… reborn.

Chapter 1 - chapter 1 reborn

1050 before The birth of Naruto. (A.N.)

The forest breeze felt different. It wasn't the scent of Italian olives, nor the steam of feudal Japanese rice. This was… new. A virgin air, untouched by the blood-stained streets or the smoke of gunfire.

He awoke in a wooden bed. Small. Rustic. The walls were thin, made of pressed mud and straw, and in the background, crickets sang. There was no electricity. No machinery. Only nature and silence.

He was five years old—he knew it. His body was childish, but his soul... held centuries.

The first shock was emotional. Luciano Gravina, the man who revived chaos in Italy through his obsession with the mafia and his secret love for Katekyo Hitman Reborn, remembered every stolen kiss, every betrayal, every order whispered in the dark.

And so did Giotto, the noble Vongola Primo, the just and serene leader who created a family to protect the weak—he too remembered every battle, every laugh, every sacrifice.

Both memories erupted violently... and then merged as if they were always one.

—"So… I've been reborn again?" —he whispered a Japanese different from The one i knew in her world.

He looked at his small hands. Still clean. Innocent. But not for long.

Days passed before he began to understand where he had landed. This world was primitive, feudal, with no firearms or political systems like the ones he knew. People spoke of "clans," of spiritual energy without a name. It was a virgin world... with no chakra, no known techniques, no structure yet.

He felt it from the first moment: this world had no established power system.

And for that reason... it was perfect.

There, in that forgotten corner of the continent, his silent investigation began. He could trust no one. No one could know who he was, or what he knew.

Not about the Flames of the Dying Will.

Not about the anime that inspired him.

Not about his past lives.

But one clue disturbed him...

—"Why was I called 'Vongola Primo'... if that name exists only in an anime from my world?"

The revelation shook him. Investigating the origin of that name would be his first objective.

If there was a connection… then someone or something knew of his previous existence.

And that was as fascinating as it was dangerous.

The morning air was heavy and humid. The forest seemed to observe him in silence as he trained beneath the waterfall, eyes closed, letting the icy water punish his body.

At five years old, any other child would be crying. But Giotto Luciano Vongola Gravina was no ordinary child. He never had been. He was the union of two past lives: Luciano Gravina, a modern-day mafioso who ruled Italy's streets, and Giotto, the first Vongola, the founder of an empire born in darkness.

Now, in a strange new world—where clans were still primitive and power moved in unpredictable ways—he had returned to the bottom. To a fragile body. To an era without structure, family, or allies.

But his will... that had never faded.

And then it happened.

A subtle vibration echoed through his mind, and before him appeared a floating interface. Semi-transparent, old yet precise, as if fusing the mystical and the mechanical.

Giotto dismissed the interface with a subtle motion. He was satisfied. He didn't need more explanations. This was the signal: rise again, from nothing. And do it the way he always had—quietly, in shadows, but with fire in his eyes.

"First the body... then the mind... and finally, the world," he whispered before punching a tree repeatedly under the rising sun.

A smile returned to his face. He didn't know which world he had been reborn into, but it didn't matter.

Giotto never needed to know the name of the board to win the game.

...

Abandoned field, far from any village — one week after Giotto's awakening.

With his mission set and his first rewards activated, Giotto made his move. The template system had brought a clarity he hadn't known in years: reclaim his power, recover the Flames, rebuild the Mafia… this time in a world he didn't even realize was real. He didn't understand everything yet, but he didn't need to. His goals burned into his soul.

His first target led him to a place reeking of misery. An abandoned field on the outskirts of what appeared to be a hostile region. A place no adult would tread... except him.

There, he found a group of ragged children, hiding among rubble and overgrown weeds. They were between 4 and 9 years old, all showing signs of starvation, wounds, and abandonment. Most didn't react. Others backed away, almost feral. But Giotto stepped forward calmly, letting his presence speak.

"I'm not here to hurt you," he said, lifting one hand slowly. "I'm here to offer you something different."

The children stared at him with a mixture of fear and awe. The air was thick with disbelief.

One of them, a freckled boy hugging his knees, frowned deeply. Why does this guy want to help us? he wondered. persons never do anything without wanting something back…

"Why are you doing this?" asked another, older boy. His voice was weak but carried an edge of suspicion.

Giotto didn't answer right away. He approached and gently ruffled the boy's hair.

"Because someone has to."

Silence fell.

A little girl with short black hair stared at him. Could this be the dream the older kids spoke of before they vanished?

Even the smallest of them, barely able to speak, clung to Giotto's cloak like a lifeline.

One boy turned away angrily. I don't need saving… But he didn't move. Deep down, he hoped that young man was telling the truth.

Giotto needed no more proof. These children were the seeds. His first group. They didn't need to be strong now—they would be. He would make them strong. Give them purpose. Give them family.

The system chimed:

Mission 1 completed: "Find your first group of followers."

Reward: Sky flame, Vongola Hyper Intuition.

Bonus unlocked: Base Management ability (level 1).

Giotto closed his eyes briefly while felt the access to the flame of Sky. His next step was clear: strengthen his body, train in silence, and guide these children. Soon, the world would know that the Vongola Primo… had been reborn.

___

The following days settled into a quiet but intense routine. Giotto rose before the sun and began his physical training. Push-ups, squats, running across open fields, lifting heavy stones, and balancing atop slippery logs. His body was still that of a child, but within him lived the soul of a legendary leader who once conquered the underworld. He would do it again.

During these sessions, some of the children watched him silently. At first, with curiosity. Then, with awe.

"Why does he train so hard?" one of them whispered.

"Maybe he wants to get stronger… to protect us," another replied, eyes filled with admiration.

Giotto heard them but said nothing. He didn't correct them. Let their thoughts grow on their own. What mattered was that they saw… and learned.

The system responded clearly:

Daily mission completed: "Exercise your body for 3 hours."

Reward: +0,1% cumulative recovery of Flames.

This mission will reset at dawn.

Bit by bit, he could feel the Flames of the Dying Will stirring deep within. Still weak. Still unstable. But real. They were there, waiting.

One night, as the children slept and the fire cracked quietly, Giotto sat in thought, his expression solemn.

It's not enough to protect them. They must learn to survive on their own. They need discipline. Structure. A system of power that shields them. And that… that can only be born from the shadows.

At that moment, the system responded:

¡New Main Mission Unlocked!

Special Summon Mission Available Soon:

Title: "Seed of the Underworld"

Objective: Establish a basic hierarchy among the children. Assign responsibilities and create an internal rule system.

Reward:

"First Guardian of the Storm – Legacy Fragment."

Activation Requirements: Upgrade base level and interact with at least 5 children.

Giotto gave a cold smile. The game had only just begun, and this time, he wouldn't repeat the mistakes of the past. He wasn't seeking redemption… he was seeking control.

"Sleep well, little ones. The world we'll build… will have no mercy for the weak."

And thus, under the witness of darkness, the first whisper was born—of what would one day be feared by all: the new Mafia of the ninja world.
