Ron opened the door.
A blinding white light erupted, flooding the space around him. He staggered back, squinting, but the brightness consumed everything. Then—silence.
When his vision returned, he found himself standing on a surface that seemed like the sky itself. Endless clouds stretched beneath his feet, and no horizon could be seen. No ground, no walls—just infinite sky. And yet, he could walk.
Cautious steps forward brought him closer to something brushing against his foot. He froze and looked down.
Directly beneath him, walking upside down, was a child perfectly mirroring his movements. The two surfaces didn't touch, as if separated by invisible glass across dimensions. The child's motions were eerily in sync—a reflection from another world.
They stopped simultaneously. Eyes met for a fleeting moment. Then the child vanished.
A hand replaced it—black, clawed, with glowing red eyes embedded in the wrist—shooting out from below, yanking Ron downward.
A translucent purple screen appeared before him:
> [SCENARIO 2 STARTED]
"THE MIRROR WORLD"
OBJECTIVE: Escape the Mirror World
REWARD: Fable – King of the Mirror World
FAILURE: Death
Ron muttered under his breath, brushing himself off. "Why the hell do I keep falling into these damn scenarios? And what kind of reward is that? King of what? A giant mirror?!"
As he moved forward, his eyes caught a figure on the ground. A humanoid creature—part werewolf, part man—covered in dark fur and radiating ominous energy. It was wounded, smoke curling from its injuries.
Recognition hit him. Memories of ruined houses, screams, blood, fire, and chaos flooded back. Then another vision appeared—a werewolf holding a limp body, howling in grief.
Snapping back to reality, Ron saw the creature stir. He knelt beside it and placed a hand on its chest. A soft glow emerged from his palm—a healing spell taught by Dr. Thomas.
Minutes passed as wounds closed and breathing stabilized. Finally, Ron asked, "What happened to you? Who did this?"
Before an answer came, footsteps echoed—heavy, deliberate, approaching.
He stood and turned.
Two figures emerged from the mist—identical copies of himself and the werewolf. Their auras radiated malice; eyes reversed, pupils white, the rest of the eyes pitch black. They moved unnaturally, like puppets without strings.
The werewolf growled, "Those are our mirror versions."
Ron stared at his doppelgänger—the same face, same clothes, same scar—but twisted in a mocking smile.
"This is the Mirror World," the werewolf said, rising. "Everything here is inverted. If you're kind, they're cruel. If you hesitate, they kill."
The mirrored versions lunged. Ron barely dodged a punch, feeling the wind cut his face. The mirrored werewolf leapt toward the original, claws glowing red.
"They move like us!" Ron shouted.
"They are us!" the werewolf barked.
Blows collided. Ron tried a small energy blast, only to see the mirrored version replicate it instantly—same attack, same timing.
"They're copying our moves," Ron muttered.
"We can't win like this!" the werewolf snapped. "Run!"
They sprinted across the glassy expanse, the mirrored versions in relentless pursuit.
Ron thought quickly. His eyes flickered—green, then gold. The mirror versions weren't just copies; they were reversed reflections. Every strength could become a weakness.
A soft, familiar voice echoed in his mind.
"Ron, do you need help?"
It was Dream.
He blinked mid-run. "Dream? You can hear me?"
"Yes. I see everything you see. But I can't intervene directly. You'll need help from someone else."
"Who?!" he asked aloud.
"Dr. Thomas. Use the magnifying glass."
Breathing heavily, Ron pulled the enchanted magnifying glass from his pocket. Raising it to his lips, he called out, "Dr. Thomas, can you hear me? I'm in some kind of Mirror World—I need help!"
A voice answered—not the doctor, but the skeleton, gatekeeper of the graveyard.
"Mirror World? How did you end up there?"
"Long story. Can you get me out?"
"Not directly. But I can give you something to level the field…"
A glow burst from the magnifying glass, shooting into Ron's chest. A system message appeared:
> [NEW ABILITY UNLOCKED]
"Anti-Reflection Pulse"
— Disrupts all mirrored movements around you for 5 seconds.
Ron's eyes widened. "Perfect timing."
He turned to the werewolf. "We've got a shot."
The werewolf growled. "Then let's end these bastards."
The mirror versions were closing in, grinning wildly. Ron clenched his fists, golden light surging through his veins as power flooded every fiber of his being.
