When it comes to epic stories, mine is without a doubt one of the most iconic. My name is Gilgamesh, the king of the most powerful empire in the world in my youth, said empire was neither more nor less than Babylon. Although the city from which I ruled was Uruk, there was no other like me in the entire Babylonian Empire, for I was once the king of all the kings of the continent of Sumeria. I became the most feared by everyone due to my enormous power and divine nature, being the son of the goddess Ninsun and the previous king Lugalbanda.
My youth was filled with passion, tragedies and adventures, as well as certain lessons I was forced to learn. My arrogant and selfish character earned me the hatred of many people. However, thanks to all the things I went through and the bad decisions I made, I realized things about myself that I didn't even know. I also discovered feelings buried deep in my heart.
The older I got, the less afraid I was of facing any kind of opponent. Until one day I came across a fairly powerful one, the only one that was at the height of my strength. What I had never imagined was how influential an opponent could be in my life, and what epic battles we would fight.
I invite you to know my story, the conceited king of Uruk, so young and beautiful that he ended up corrupted by the fear of losing all his qualities. Although thanks to my adventures and misfortunes, I learned to reach my full potential, both as a king, warrior and person.
