Children of the Weave

The Weave changed everything. Humanity had been doing what it always does, infighting, when one day holes in space opened up, swallowing entire populations. Later on, this was understood to be the Weave choosing such a person. It throws them into a trial in order to gain tremendous power. But power comes at a cost. When the first Marked returned to Earth, the Scars opened, releasing hoards of beasts onto the planet and forcing humanity to scramble for survival. Kael would soon find himself in such a position: Fighting for his life between the scars and a brewing war amoung the Great Clans.
