Lee Ji-seo's POV (Point Of View)
It was PE period, and I went to the girls' locker room to change into my sports clothes. I met Arin in there, and Ha-ri and I shared a knowing look.
I made my way to her and Chaeyoung, who was standing next to her. Ha-ri followed behind me.
She stopped her actions when she saw me approaching, and was about to walk away when I dragged her by her wrist immediately, preventing her from leaving.
"Hey, let me go!" She yelled. Ha-ri looked at the other girls in the locker room, "You guys can continue your business, don't mind us," she said with a smile before turning back to Arin with a glare.
"What was in that paint?" I asked her while tightening my grip on her hand. She stopped resisting and looked at me in shock, "I don't know what you're talking about."
I scoffed, "It looks like you have suddenly lost your memories. Alright then, let me help you out." I said before giving her a harsh slap. She and Chaeyoung gasped in shock and glared at me, and tried slapping me, but I caught her wrist in a tight grip.
"Do you remember now, or do you want me to slap you again?" I asked with a glare. "If she can't remember, then I can help you out by beating her up to a pulp, Ji-seo." Ha-ri chipped in.
Arin's eyes widen in shock after hearing Ha-ri's words. 'Damn, how skilled is Ha-ri in beating people up?' I said to myself. I composed myself and sent a glare to Chaeyoung, who jumped in fright when she noticed my glare.
"Hey, what did she put in the paint?" I asked her. She quickly shook her head, "I don't know, she didn't tell me that she was even going to do this." She blurted.
Ha-ri scoffed and pulled Arin's hair. I quickly left Arin's wrist and stared at Ha-ri in shock. "Just because we have been quiet all this time doesn't mean we are weak. If you try the rubbish stunt again, I swear I will make your life miserable." Ha-ri warned and then left Arin's hair.
Arin glared at us while fixing her messed-up hair, "Well, tell your friend over here that she should stay away from Min-ho, or I won't stop trying to make her life a living hell here!" She yelled.
I scoffed, "Not this nonsense again." I muttered. "Listen here, Arin, I am not even within 5cm reach of Min-ho. What makes you think I'm always near him?"
"You think I don't know about your little Museum date with him?!" Arin yelled in anger. Ha-ri and I looked at each other with confusion. The girls around us started to whisper.
"You mean the visit to the museum that Ji-seo, Dae, Taemin, Min-ho, Min Hyuk, and I went to on Saturday, right?" Ha-ri asked with a raised brow.
Arin stayed silent, realising her stupidity. I stifled a laugh, "Do you want me to lend you my glasses? I think you need it more than I."
"Were you really blinded by jealousy that you didn't see other people other than Ji-seo and Min-ho?" Ha-ri teased.
"I heard that once you see the person you love, everything and everyone around you is like a blur. Maybe she is in love with me, that makes so much sense right now." I said, stifling a laugh.
Arin stomped her foot in embarrassment, "Hey! I don't love you! Don't get ahead of yourself." She yelled. Ha-ri and I laughed at her, and the other girls in the locker room laughed along with us, but stopped when Arin shot them a glare.
Ha-ri noticed and placed her hands on her hip, "It seems you've forgotten that I am also an Alpha like you, and one that is even higher than you. What power do you have over them? You guys can laugh, it's not like she's your master." Ha-ri told the girls around us.
Arin shot her a glare, and Ha-ri gave her a grin, "What? Unlike Min-ho, Taemin, and me, whose parents and grandparents built their legacy from the ground up, you're just the daughter of a woman who divorced a charbol and got assets from the divorce, and now she is getting married to Min Taemin's dad to take more benefits. Don't forget your place because I have been staying silent. I guess you're following your mother's footsteps. Like mother, like daughter." Ha-ri scoffed.
Arin glared at Ha-ri before looking at me in anger, "I'll make your life a living hell. Watch your back." She warned.
"What can you do? Without people helping you do your work for you, you're just a worthless, weak, spoiled brat. If you want to make my life a living hell, then do it yourself. Let's see if you can try that." I said, with a dark tone.
I saw Arin's face falter with a scared look, and I grinned in excitement. 'This would be fun.'
She walked out of the locker room. Chaeyoung looked at us with an apologetic look, "I apologise for the way she's behaving. I will keep an eye on her so she won't get in trouble and won't cause any harm to you."
Ha-ri scoffed, "She can't do anything, and by the way, why are you still with her?" I nodded, also wanting to know why Chaeyoung is keeping up with Arin's behaviour.
"That's because, if I leave her, she won't have anyone left. She'll be all alone. I hope you guys can understand." She said with a sigh, then walked out of the room, and I couldn't help but feel pity for her, but most importantly, I couldn't help but think about what Ha-ri said earlier.
'This whole thing is so confusing. How many secrets does this group of Alphas have?' I said inwardly, looking at Ha-ri, who was telling the girls in the room not to get scared of Arin's advances.
