It was just a regular day for Lukas as he had just gotten off of his daily shift at Costco and was driving back home. He was busy thinking about War Thunder and because of that he was not paying good attention to the road Infront of him. When the all of a sudden he heard a large horn sound off from the side of him. The Semi-truck seemed to only be going faster to Lukas and this was the scariest part to him so as the Semi got closer and closer Lukas realized that he would have better luck praying to the heavens that his wishes be granted to him in his next life.
When the Semi got 200 feet of Lukas it transformed into a ripoff version of Optimus Prime and told him in a booming voice "You're wishes shall be granted deranged mortal!" As Lukas felt 200 tons drop on his body.
A bright white room flooded Lukas's vision as he appeared in front of a giant snail figure. The figure looked at him with a expression of wonder and excitement as a human soul able to reincarnate with the system that he designed after his favorite game War Thunder. Nervous Lukas looked at the being before asking it in a shaky voice "Where am I? And who are you?"
The being looked at him in surprise for not knowing who it was so it responded with a answer Lukas did not expect "I am the one who introduced War Thunder to your planet, I am the one who brought your species to life,
And I am the one that shall watch and fix what went wrong when humanity extinguishes itself in a nuclear fire."
Lukas immediately understood what the being was infront of him and he kneeled down quickly in respect to the ancient and wise being his overlord, his master, his creator, his god. The being was Gaijin itself in all of its holy glory Lukas immediately asked the being in a tone of respect and fear to the mighty one "Gaijin can you please make the game easier to play for us War Thunder players?"
Gaijin responded on a tone of surprise and confusion "No, Why should I? It's not like the realm of souls can stay this clean by itself you know."
Lukas replies in a sad tone "Ok. But if I may ask why is it I am here?"
Gaijin said in a happy tone "You have been chosen to be the user of the War Thunder system!"
In a shocked voice Lukas asked "Why me and not somebody else?"
The vastly powerful being known as Gaijin answered "You are the only one 100% compatible with the system I designed."
Lukas happy and overjoyed at the thought of being reincarnated with system he is compatible with started thinking of all the things he could do with it when Gaijin intrupted his thoughts by saying "You shall be transported to a new world as a starting tank from any nation you choose and since you are super compatible with it you will be able to use two nations tech tree but only one sector like tanks or planes not both. However as a apology for the shortcomings of the system you will get 20,000 Golden Eagles for your spending."
Lukas being absolutely happy with what he was told he immediately tells Gaijin "It is okay I thought about what I want."
Surprised Gaijin asked "Are you sure it hasn't been that long?"
Lukas with a determined face and a confident tone replied "Yes, my choices are the American and German tech tree starting off as Germany."
Gaijin with a smile on its face says "Okay and as a reward for choosing so fast I will let the two nations progress together which means you need to only upgrade one nation to at a time and switch to the other once you deem one side worst than the other. A example would be going to rank 2 in Germany and automatically getting it for the USA with the required number of tanks researched randomly on the American tech tree and having one tank in rank 2 for you to use in the US tree."
Pleased Lukas thanks Gaijin and says that he is ready to got to his next world. Gaijin then takes him to the world he will spends most or all of his second life in. A magical and slightly modern world of fantasy and magic.
