Chapter 29 - Chapter 30: Crisis of the orphanage members

"Dean, what did you find?" Osa asked. "Just follow my instructions," Dean said. to osa taking a step felt like the weight of the world was on his back, and the feeling of dread becoming even worse "Dean, I can't move anymore," Osa said, stumbling to the ground. "This is just the effect of the Vion technology; maybe it has been activated by that woman... what's her name again... hmm, oh, Mrs. Rose. She stated clearly that she is very familiar with the tunnel layout." Dean said with a sigh "But Mrs. Rose has never told us anything about this tunnel. In fact, if you hadn't told me about it, I wouldn't have known about its existence as well." "Then we must find her because I found traces of some formations that shouldn't be in this universe," Dean said seriously.

"Are you implying that Mrs. Rose is hiding something big from us?" Osa asked, almost shouting. "I don't know yet; let's go to the origin of the formation." "But I can't move now; the more steps I take, the more the pressure becomes overwhelming." Osa complained, but in the middle of his complaint, he was enveloped in a layer of invisible spiritual energy, which shielded him against the pressure. Feeling his body becoming light, like before, and the pressure disappearing, Osa started wondering what would have become of him if he didn't have Dean by his side. This just reminded him of the importance of Dean's existence in his life.

"Stop staring at an empty space and start walking," Dean's voice echoed in his mind, snapping him out of his daze. Heeding Dean's instructions, Osa started sprinting inside the tunnel, following the direction Dean asked him to follow. It came as a big surprise to Osa because he never expected this tunnel to be so large and complex. Osa wanted to assure himself that John and the others were safe, hiding somewhere, but if he remembered what Dean said about how Mrs. Rose might be hiding something big from them, he couldn't help but think the opposite.

A few minutes later, Osa appeared in what looked like an underground chamber with shiny lines crisscrossing everywhere, creating a complex diagram in the middle of the chamber. "Dean, what are all these?" Osa asked, like a curious child. "This is the core of the formation in this tunnel," Dean answered. "Formation? What kind of formation, and what is a formation?" Osa asked, confused. "You haven't been listening to what I've been saying, have you?" Dean asked. "I have," Osa answered, sighing. "This formation, based on ancient knowledge, was called the Cosmo Sealing Formation. In ancient times, it was used to seal powerful beasts that are nearly impossible to kill, and not just beasts, even humans and powerful artifacts were also sealed with this formation during ancient times."

"Then what's the strange feeling it was giving me?" Osa asked. "That's one of the reasons I said it has traces of Vion technology from the desolate," Dean explained. "It has traces of Vion suppressing array, and its purpose is to suppress the Vion energy or Qi as you call it here." "Oh, the discomfort I was feeling was because of the suppression. Then what about the dreaded feeling? Was it also because of it?" "No! That's why I said this place is dangerous. We are not alone in this tunnel. There are other people here who are not members of the orphanage, and they are very powerful. The dreaded feeling you felt was because one of them was staring at you."

Osa was stunned, never expecting other people to be in this tunnel apart from the orphanage staff and kids. "What about John and the others?" he asked. "Their situation is pretty dire at the moment. That kid you forced into the tunnel and John are going against a hybrid. Some of the staff and kids are dead, Mrs. Rose badly injured and unconscious. It looks like the hybrid is just toying with them, but anyway, John and that kid cannot hold for long. it's quite surprising for two regular humans to have the courage to go against a hybrid, though he is not even taking them seriously."

"What!, Dean, I have to save them, please. Where are they now? Which direction should I pass?" Osa asked, almost shouting. "Kid, you can't save them. Barging in there is no different from suicide because you are not a match for that hybrid," came Dean's reply. "But they'll die! This time, Osa was practically screaming, forgetting that communicating with Dean is usually telepathic. Then Dean replied, "You want to save them and get yourself killed without saving anyone?" Though Osa was still not convinced and still wanted to go and save John and the orphanage staff, deep down, he knew that Dean was right, especially after experiencing that dreaded feeling. He knew going there was suicidal, but he just couldn't sit still and watch John and the kids be massacred. Else he might live with regret throughout his whole life.

"Dean, please, is there truly no way to save them? I don't want them to die. They are the only family I've got left" Osa pleaded almost to the point of tears. "Who says you can't save them?" came Dean's shocking response. "Of course, you can save them. It's just that the process will be quite dangerous, but the reward will be more than worth it. Ahahaha... this will be fun."

Osa let out a sigh of relief, feeling as if a huge load had just been lifted off him. But Dean's later sentence also confused him, and he couldn't resist asking, "What did you mean?" Instead of answering, Dean asked him to follow all his instructions because he can't leave the ring for now. He asked Osa to carefully enter the middle of the core formation but made sure not to step on any complex inscribed lines, as they were already weak and might lose their functions if stepped on. Osa was to remove the ring from his thumb and place it at the center of the formation; then, the rest would be up to Dean to complete.

"Dean, I don't understand," Osa said, confused. "Just do it, Osa," Dean replied. "You want to save them, right? This is the only way." Osa hesitated for a moment, then slowly made his way to the center of the formation. He carefully removed the ring from his thumb and placed it at the center, just as Dean had instructed. As soon as the ring touched the ground, the complex lines on the ground began to glow. The glow grew brighter and brighter, filling the entire chamber. Osa felt a strange familiar energy building up around him, this energy... it's blood aura osa was shocked about the purity of it and he knew that Dean was doing something. Suddenly, the energy exploded
