Osa faces his toughest challenge yet as he battles the two towering rhino hybrids, each nearly three meters tall and covered in thick, impenetrable skin. Physically stronger and more resilient than him, they pose a significant threat to him. Even after using the Fourth Stage of Vion, he can barely inflict severe injuries, and he must be cautious of their crushing attacks, as a single punch could send his body flying and seriously injured him.
This fight surpasses even his intense battle with the Lust King, pushing him to his limits. The hybrids' size and brute strength are formidable, but their slower speed and lack of rapid healing give Osa a glimmer of hope. However, their apparent teamwork and tactical coordination – one attacks while the other defends – makes them an even more daunting foe.
Osa's claws, sliced through the air with deadly precision, the Blood Aura surrounding them glowed like embers, casting an eerie light on the tunnel walls. The hybrids, their rhino-like bodies undaunted, charged forward with reckless abandon.
The battle was a maelstrom of claws and horns, the sound of crashing bodies echoing through the tunnel. Osa's claws bit deep into the second hybrids' thick hide, but it refused to yield. The first hybrid's horn gored Osa's side, sending him stumbling back. The second hybrid seized the opening, its jaws wide open for the kill.
Osa's vision blurred, his body screaming in agony, but he refused to fall. With a feral cry, he launched himself at the hybrids, his claws flashing in the dim light. The Blood Aura surrounding them pulsed with energy, making each strike more and more devastating than the last one.
The second hybrid stumbled back, his body torn and battered, but still it refused to surrender. Osa's claws struck true again and again, each blow landing with precision and force. The air was thick with tension, the outcome hanging precariously in the balance.
In a heart-stopping moment, the first hybrid's horn pierced Osa's shoulder, sending him crashing to the ground freeing the second hybrid. After standing up the second hybrid raised its foot, ready to deliver the finishing blow. Osa's vision began to fade, his body going numb because of the intense pain.
But still he refused to yield. With a Herculean effort, Osa summoned every single last ounce of blood aura in his body, using the forth Stage of Vion his claws started burning brighter than ever before. then it flashed in the dim light, striking the second hybrid's heart with precision. The creature let out a deafening roar as it collapsed on the ground.
The first hybrid, enraged, charged forward with renewed ferocity. Osa stood tall, his vision fading, and his body screaming in agony. Their final clash was a blur of claws and horns, the outcome hanging in balance.
In the end, Osa emerged victorious, thanks to the formations that plays it part by weakening the hybrid. However, the battle had taken its toll on him. Exhausted, Osa stood over the hybrid's motionless body, his claws still trembling with fatigue. With a final surge of strength, he plunged his claws into the hybrid's skull, destroying its brain and ending its life.
As the adrenaline wore off, Osa's body began to shake with exhaustion. His claws retracted, and his hair, eyes, and fangs returned to their normal state. The two hybrid corpses lay lifeless on the ground, surrounded by Osa, who stood tall, his face contorted in pain. Blood trickled from his mouth, and his healing slowed due to his extreme fatigue.
The scene was a poignant one - Osa's hair fluttered in the stillness, creating a hauntingly beautiful portrait of sorrow, pain, and loneliness. But instead of rejoicing in his victory, Osa was overwhelmed with grief and a deep sense of isolation. His two closest friends, John and Peter, lay nearby, their fate uncertain. Memories of their time together flooded his mind, bringing tears to his eyes. Overcome with emotion, Osa collapsed to the ground, weeping uncontrollably.
**PRESENT**
After making his vow, Osa asked, his voice trembling, "Dean, are you sure they'll survive?"
Dean sighed, "It's just a temporary solution. I don't know how long they can last."
Osa's eyes welled up with tears. "You lied to me, Dean! You told me their condition had stabilized, didn't you?"
Dean's expression turned somber. "Kid, you should be worrying about yourself. Can't you see how pale you are?"
Osa's face contorted in anguish. "So, they're going to die?"
Dean began to respond, but Osa cut him off, his voice rising in despair. "How could you, Dean? You claimed to be a Vion scientist from another universe, yet you can't save the lives of two mortals?"
Dean materialized in front of Osa, his expression serious. "You didn't let me finish. What I wanted to say is that they can still be saved, but it depends on you."
Osa's eyes lit up with hope. "How can I do it?" he asked eagerly.
Dean's expression turned cautious. "It's simple, but you're too weak and exhausted. You can only do it if you're in top condition, or you'll harm yourself."
Osa's desperation grew. "Dean, I'm already hurt enough. Just tell me, let me do it."
Dean's voice firm. "Looking at your complexion, I can tell you're not ready."
Osa's frustration boiled over. "No, Dean, I'm serious. Just tell me—"
But before he could finish, Osa's eyes rolled back, and he spat out blood, losing consciousness.
Meanwhile, outside the tunnel, reinforcements from the Blue Fur Organization arrived, led by the Seventh and Fourth Elders. They brought a considerable force of almost five hundred members, but only the two elders had evolved to the Mortal Realm, while the rest remained at the Awakening Stage. Given the organization's small size, this was to be expected. However, their weakness made them unsuitable for this battle, and to avoid sending their disciples to their deaths, the Fourth Elder ordered them to retreat over ten kilometers away and surround the now-destroyed Blue Fur City.
Their mission was to investigate the surrounding area and search for any survivors to save. After instructing their disciples, the Fourth and Seventh Elders sprang into action, intent on aiding Minister Smith. According to rumors, Minister Smith was not much weaker than Emperor Zach, so assisting him in defeating his opponent could be a game-changer.
