While Dean and Osa were about to uncover the mysteries of the tunnels, a shocking piece of news was circulating in Wonder Nation. It came as a huge shock to everyone that the Shadow Order had infiltrated Wonder Nation and were causing mayhems everywhere. No one knows where the news originated from; all they knew was that they started seeing traces of them.
**at the Imperial Court**
Emperor Zach was pacing back and forth in his throne room; he had just sent for all of his ministers, even those outside the country. He had received a shocking news that he just received; at first, he didn't believe it, but after he had been summoned by the ancestors, he had no choice but to believe it. Now, according to the ancestors, the Shadow Order had just infiltrated this country and might be planning something big, which they currently were not aware of. To top things up, Miss Lyla also sent a message that they had caught a trail of the Shadow Order and were currently investigating their whereabouts.
While Emperor Zach was deep in thought, his ministers started entering the hall in one and two's. There were a lot of new faces among the ministers; they were probably the ones outside the country. Emperor Zach was snapped out of his thoughts by the footsteps of his ministers. He raised up his head and looked at all of them, nodding his head to the new faces. He sat down on his throne and cleared his throat before speaking.
"My esteemed ministers gathered here today in this urgent council, I thank you for your swift response to my summons. The Shadow Order has infiltrated our great nation; their aim unknown, but as your emperor, it is my duty to inform you all that their agents have really infiltrated deep into our system. Though we might not know their plans, but together we can bring them down. I want us to work tirelessly to protect our people, our land, and our honor, but remember the fate of our empire depends on our united efforts."
All the ministers nodded their head in support, even Miss Lyla, who sat at a corner all this time, cannot help but be impressed with Emperor Zach's speech and thought to herself, "No wonder he was able to get their support."
"Your majesty!" Minister Smith stood up and bowed to Emperor Zach and said, "I'll coordinate the military and have them shut the borders and make sure no one leaves this country, your majesty!"
Minister Bola also stood up, bowed to Emperor Zach, and said, "I'll send a message to the neighboring countries and have them send reinforcement to help us because your majesty should be aware of how powerful the Shadow Order is, even to the federation, they have been ranked on a cosmic level, which also means that their collective powers also pose a threat to the federation, your majesty..."
All the ministers started standing up to offer help in one way or the other. No one wants to be left behind; they all want to help. Seeing this scene, Miss Lyla's impression of Emperor Zach improved greatly. Knowingly or unknowingly, Emperor Zach had just showed Miss Lyla that he is in total control of his ministers. It caused the imperial palace to shook, and even some parts of it roofing came falling down. The good thing is that everyone here is an hybrid, so they were able to get out safely.
Outside the imperial palace, Emperor Zach and his ministers were shocked by what they saw. In the distance, they saw a pillar made out of light that, in respective of the distance, illuminated everywhere. The pillar of light is so bright that it probably illuminated over half of Wonder Nation.
"What the hell is that!" Minister Bola shouted in shock. "It looks like it is from that same city again," Minister Smith pointed out. "Why is it that all of the calamities we have been experiencing for the past few days all originated from that city?" another minister said.
"Let's go take a look," Emperor Zach said and soared into the air. He was followed by his ministers, and even Miss Lyla followed them. She was curious about what's going on there; she hasn't received any information from any of her crew. She is curious about the cause of the light pillar. Though Blue Fur City might be far from the central capital, but to powerful hybrids like Emperor Zach and his ministers, it is not considered that far.
After flying a considerable amount of distance, Emperor Zach stopped all of a sudden. His confused ministers also stopped, not knowing what's happening. They can only direct their confused gaze at Emperor Zach.
A few seconds later, Emperor Zach's eyes gained their clarity, but now there is a serious expression on his face. He turned to Minister Smith and said, "Send a message to Blue Fur Organization and ask Mr. Benjamin to come here right now, else he would be seen as a traitor, and I would personally destroy his brother organization for him before he came back."
"Yes, your Majesty," Minister Smith answered and immediately departed. Then Emperor Zach turned to Minister Bola and said, "The Shadow Order trail has just been found by one of our ancestors. I want you to send a message to the neighboring countries, tell them the Shadow Order here are very powerful, we might not be able to handle them alone, tell them we need their help immediately." "Yes, your Majesty," Minister Bola answered and also left.
