Chapter 1: The Beginning of the End
It started like any other day. The sun was shining, the birds were singing, and people were going about their daily routines. But then, without warning, the world as we knew it came to a screeching halt.
The first reports of the outbreak came in from a small town in the middle of nowhere. At first, people didn't take it seriously. They thought it was just another case of a new virus that would be contained quickly. But as the days went by, the reports became more and more alarming.
The virus was spreading rapidly, infecting anyone who came into contact with it. The symptoms were horrific: fever, vomiting, and a terrible rash that covered the body. But the worst part was yet to come.
Within a few days, those infected with the virus began to show signs of aggression. They became violent, attacking anyone in their path. It was like something out of a horror movie. People were being bitten, torn apart, and devoured by their own friends and family.
The government tried to contain the outbreak, but it was too late. The virus had already spread to major cities, and chaos reigned. People were trying to flee, but the roads were clogged with abandoned cars and the airports were closed.
Within a week, the world had changed forever. The streets were littered with the bodies of the dead and dying. The few survivors huddled together, trying to stay alive in a world gone mad.
And then, the dead began to rise. They were no longer human, but something else entirely. Their eyes were blank, their skin was grey, and they hungered for flesh.
The zombie apocalypse had begun.
