Chapter 14: Migrate

Raiken left Konoha with Kenshiro and Hiroki, all three of them satisfied with the Hokage promises, that their people would not be forced into becoming shinobi, would not be obligated to accept missions, and would have the freedom to open a market within the village.

Although shinobi were well-compensated, they were often viewed as tools by those in power—nobles, merchants, and political leaders.

The rewards could be substantial. A high-ranking mission, such as S-rank, could earn a ninja up to one million ryo. It was a dangerous profession, but one that promised wealth in return.

For most, this was enough to risk their lives. The allure of quick riches and temporary luxury was powerful, they could live like top 1% for several months with a single S Rank mission.

While those who are weaker, they are forced to do a mission because without it, they can't continue their lives. For example Might Duy, was forced to accept several D Rank mission because of his status as genin. D Rank Mission was paid a little compared to C Rank mission.

But for the Uzumaki Clan, wealth had always come to their door in bundle. Even during their time in Uzushiogakure, buyers from Konoha and other nations regularly sought out their fuinjutsu scrolls. Their sealing techniques were not only powerful but also unique and very powerful.

Konoha possessed only a fraction of the Uzumaki fuinjutsu knowledge—roughly 10%, thanks primarily to Mito. While she had shared a few techniques with her husband, Hashirama, it was Tobirama who learned more through persistent persuasion. Even so, the clan remained fiercely protective of their heritage. For the Uzumaki, fuinjutsu was a symbol of their identity—one not to be diluted or handed over lightly, even by those who married outside the clan.

The most advanced and dangerous seals were kept hidden, never recorded outside the clan inner circle. Mito had ensured that these techniques remained exclusive, preserving her homeland's legacy. As a result, Konoha was still forced to purchase any high-tier sealing jutsu directly from the Uzumaki clan.

This exclusivity gave the clan leverage. And with their numbers so severely reduced, it was better to trade knowledge carefully than to lose lives on the battlefield.

For the survivors, not being pressured into missions was a huge relief. With their numbers reduced to just a few hundreds, they couldn't afford to lose a single life to war. Every individual mattered. Their current goal was not glory on the battlefield—but preservation, healing, and rebuilding. It was time to focus on their family, on teaching the next generation, and on ensuring the Uzumaki name endured.

Meanwhile, didn't Mito cared about Konoha? She is the village wife founder, well Mito didn't really care about it. Compared to other villages, she knew just how prosperous Konoha truly was.

Its fertile land, elite shinobi, strong noble backing, and the Fire Daimyo's full support had turned Konoha into a military and economic powerhouse. It was no surprise that the village continually produced extraordinary ninja in every generation.

But now, with the Uzumaki Clan come to migrate with Konoha, it will directly benefit the village but luckily they had forced Hokage to agreed not to force them to draw a fuinjutsu scroll.

Whether by they are coming to Konoha would bring peace or tension, Raiken didn't know yet. But one thing was certain, the Uzumaki won't be forced by Danzo to join Root.

---New Donation---

Raiken had instructed Hiroki to gather all adult Uzumaki shinobi and meet him within 20 minutes. They needed to be briefed before their migration to Konoha.

In the meantime, Raiken took the opportunity to check his livestream channel and was stunned. His follower count had skyrocketed, and a large number of donations had poured in.

[Eugene has purchased a membership and donated 1,000 stars]

[Miguel has bought a sticker and upgraded to VVIP membership]

There were several names he didn't recognize. He had previously turned off the donation messages to reduce distractions, but after seeing the overwhelming support, he decided to re-enable notifications—for donations of 1,000 stars and above. Viewers who wanted their messages read in real time now had to donate at least 1,000 stars. This was his strategy to encourage larger contributions from his audience.

Raiken grinned as he watched the star count rise on his account. Still, he resisted the temptation to spend them. He believed the cost of attribute points would continue to increase over time—perhaps even multiply—if he used them too early it will be wasteful. Only during a critical moment would he make those purchases. His cautious approach is proved to be correct, when he decided to make a purchase, his theory was correct.

---Migrating---

Raiken gathered the Uzumaki and explained the agreement made with Konoha. He assured them they were not obligated to become shinobi of the village, and he would do his best to find other work for them once they settled in.

Clan survival was the top priority. Their numbers were already too few—they couldn't afford to lose anyone else to dangerous missions.

The crowd agreed without hesitation. These were people who had already lost spouses, siblings, and parents. None of them wanted their children to grow up as orphans too.

That evening, they gathered once more. Using a sealing formation, they then activated the Reverse Summoning Jutsu, transporting the entire group directly into the Senju Residence.

The sudden appearance of the Uzumaki shocked not just Konoha, but the other four great villages as well. News of their survival spread quickly.

It was a heavy blow to those other villages. Not only had they failed to retrieve a single scroll or capture any Uzumaki shinobi during the invasion, but they had also lost valuable ninja from theri village. In the end, the true victor was Konoha.

Within the village, reactions varied. The Hyuga Clan was mostly indifferent, seeing no threat to their standing. Civilians, however, were overjoyed, having more powerful ninja around meant Konoha would be better protected.

But things were different within the Uchiha Clan. The Uzumaki had always been strong allies of the Senju, and now, with Senju blood still alive, albeit under new surnames—it felt like a political shift. To the Uchiha, the migration of the Uzumaki was a serious blow, both in influence and in legacy.

They are one more Uchiha who feel frustrated it is Uchiha Madara, he now didn't know how to trick a people from Uzumaki Clan to live outside the village.
