Synopsis
In a world consumed by endless war, humanity is nothing more than a pawn—struggling to survive between two forces far beyond their reach: demons and angels. Ravian is merely the leader of a small squad on the front lines. A weary soldier who has lived far too long among blood and death. He never chose war, yet time and time again, he finds himself dragged back into it—as if fate itself refuses to let him go. On one side lies the world of demons—greedy for power, relentless in their pursuit to conquer humanity. On the other stands the world of angels—beings long worshipped as saviors, yet in truth, cold and indifferent to human suffering. And humans? They can only hope. Pray. Wait for a miracle that may never come. Yet strangely… whenever humanity stands on the brink of destruction, something unseen always turns the tide. A “miracle” beyond explanation—appearing at the very last moment, as if shielding mankind from extinction. Until one day… everything changes. Sensing a mysterious force that threatens their dominance, demons and angels—two entities meant to be enemies—choose to join forces. Their goal is singular: To find… and eliminate the “miracle.” Amid a battlefield that devours everything in its path, Ravian stands at the edge of death—alone, without hope, ready to accept his end. But just before death claims him— lightning splits the sky. A Valkyrie descends from the heavens of war… and saves him. From that moment on, Ravian’s life is no longer the same. A man who was once nothing more than an ordinary soldier is slowly drawn into the greatest secret of the world—of hidden power, of a fate long set in motion… and of a “dragon” foretold to change everything. In a world where hope is an illusion, and truth is buried beneath power— what exactly is this “miracle”? And when the time finally comes… will Ravian become the savior of the three races, or the destruction they fear the most?

Chapter 1 - Is this it?

Screams of agony echoed across the land.

Blood and sweat merged, painting the ground with a color that should never have existed.

The metallic stench filled the air.

I imagined…how the people who loved them would react, seeing their loved ones trampled like insects.

"Help me… help—"

Crack.

The voice was cut off.

My subordinate's body fell limp, like a broken puppet.

My hands trembled.

Why…?

Is this the end that awaits me as well?

I could only stand there.

Listening to the clash of blades…and the screams that felt like they would never end.

God…

Being born human is already bad enough.

My parents never wanted me.I lived like trash.

Is there anyone more cursed than me?

I never wanted this life.

Not even once.

But…

I also refuse to die like a cowardwho did nothing at the end of his life.

My breathing grew ragged.

I ran.

My hand reached for a sword embedded in the ground—probably belonging to a fallen comrade.

The hilt was still warm.

In front of me…

A horde of demons.

And among them—one figure stood still.

Not moving.

Watching.

Their leader.

Impossible.

That word kept piercing through my mind, no matter how many times I tried to deny it.

And yet…

Something burned within my chest.

Hot.

Growing hotter.

As if my own body refused to retreat.

I raised my sword.

Before me, human captives were being slaughtered one by one—without mercy, without reason.

My veins tensed. My teeth clenched hard.

"You damn demons…!"

I kicked off the ground.

And ran.

The earth cracked beneath my steps.

The world around me slowed.

The screams…the clash of steel…everything faded.

Only one thing remained—

Me… and them.

CRACK!

My blade pierced through a demon's chest. Blood burst forth.

"You bastard…!"

The demon tried to hold its posture.

But failed.

Its body collapsed slowly, as if it had only just realized… it was already dead.

I walked past the demons I had just slain.

My steps were heavy.

My gaze was empty.

The sword in my hand was drenched in blood—already losing its shape.

I stopped.

Looking around.

Silence.

No more human voices.

No one left to call.

Nothing… remained.

"…Damn it."

My voice was hoarse.

"This is no different from attacking an anthill…"

I let out a hollow laugh.

"They'll just keep coming…"

My hand trembled.

"Damn it… damn it… DAMN IT!"

I gritted my teeth.

"No matter how many times I fight… it always ends the same way!"

My breathing broke apart.

"I'm… always the last one standing…"

The wind suddenly shifted.

The sky above cracked with magical light.

BRRRRMMMM—

Space itself was torn open.

One… two… then dozens of magic circles appeared at once.

From within them—

Demonic warships emerged.

Massive. Dark. Floating like a nightmare made real.

And beneath them…

Thousands of soldiers.

Descending.

Without sound.

Without hesitation.

All heading toward a single point—

Me.

I laughed.

Softly.

Then louder.

"HAHA…"

I raised my sword—

Broken in half.

Yet I still pointed it straight at them.

"Come…"

My voice was low. Hoarse. But clear.

"I'LL TAKE YOU ALL ON—"

I stepped forward.

"—UNTIL THERE'S NOTHING LEFT OF ME!"

The ground beneath me cracked.

The air trembled.

And for a moment—

The world… held its breath.

I could only accept—

my end.

But—

KRAAAK!!

The sky split apart with lightning.

In an instant, the advancing demons were reduced to ash.

Silence.

Amid the ruined battlefield—

a winged woman descended slowly.

Her wings… were beautiful.

That was the only thought I had.

Her hair shimmered like gold, reflecting light that didn't even exist in this place.

And her eyes—

red.

Like blood.

And for some reason…

those eyes were fixed on me.

"You were supposed to die here."
