Ten years has passed since Lucian became part of the Veyrath Family.
The family showered him with love, especially his aunt Ana and his uncle Micheal who welcomed him as their own and loved him dearly.
Although he knew that he wasn't biologically their child, he saw them as his parents.
Micheal, his grandfather's son amd his wife Annarelle, whom everybody called Anna for short, took him in as their own son and treated him like their own.
Lucian has grown to love the family so much and sometime wondered what a different family would have been like.
Of course, he didn't wish for that.
His grandfather, Aaron also loved him so much and always made sure everything he needed was available to him.
He brought him souvenirs and other gifts Everytime he returned from his adventures in Atlantis.
The people of the town has also grown to love him because he was a good kid.
Because of his unique race among humans, he was known in the whole town of Frosgate where many loved him irrespective of his race.
Somewhere outside Frosgate Town...…..
A group of teenagers ran after a mountain rabbit in the Werland plains with the determination to catch it, no matter what.
Some of them wielded spikes whiles others held short swords.
The rabbit jumped from one tree stump to the other looking for a hole to hide from its pursuers.
The boys chased it with all their might. They spread out in an attempt to surround the rabbit and they succeeded.
The fluffy mountain rabbit looked around finding a loophole to escape its fate.
After spotting a giant hole under one of the tree stumps, it sprint out at a high speed from the encirclement, entering the large hole.
Or at least that was what it thought.
A few seconds before any parts of its body could enter the hole, an arrow pierced through its head, killing it in an instant.
Everybody turned to where the arrow came from and standing there was a ten year old with long silver hair and a mocking smile plastered on his face.
"Nobody asked for your help you bastard" one of the teenagers said as he picked up the dead rabbit.
"That's how your parents taugght you to say thank you?. I guess they need to do better" Lucian said with a smirk.
"You long eared brat! Mention my parents again and you'll go home without a tongue" the teenager shot out
"Awwn, why are you crying. Poor little thing" Lucian said with a mocking face.
"You—" the boy painted his short sword at Lucian in a threatening manner.
"That is only if you are able to reach me" Lucian replied, climbing onto the back of a giant desert deer.
"All you can do is run" another of the group said.
"And what about that? You can't run?. Awwnn, you cripple. Must really suck to be you" Lucian said, breaking the walls of the other boy's tolerance level.
"Maybe he can't run….but he can do other things" the leader of the group said and took out a short dagger from his waist strap. Lucian glanced at the others who were also poised with weapons in their hands and knew it was time to flee.
Just as Lucian was about to order the desert deer to run, he caught a sight of rising dust in the corner of his eyes which immediately caught everyone's attention.
He fixed his posture on the deer ready to run just in case they were being attacked by any stronger beasts.
Just then, he heard the sound of his name repeatedly coming from a distance away.
A few moments later, he saw a black mountain Goat appear in his vision from where the dust was coming from.
He gave a sigh of relief after recognizing the black giant Goat.
A few seconds later, a boy who seemed to be the same age as him arrived as his mount slowed down its pace.
"Lucian, I didn't know I'll find you here" He said as he got closer.
"Your grandfather is looking for you" Alexander, Lucian's best friend said.
"Gramps is back?" He asked with a voice filled with excitement.
"Yes. And he came back with your sister and a few ladies" he added.
"You mean my sister, sister?"
"Yes. Your sister Miriele." Alex answered adding fire to the other boy's enthusiasm.
"Alright then cripple boys, see you later" Lucian said with a teasing smile.
"Let's go Alex" Lucian said looking at the group five with pity.
"Let's go home Bolt"
He said and the giant deer took off, increasing its pace every second.
A few seconds later it disappeared from sight as it headed for Frosgate Town.
When Lucian arrived in front of his family's three storied castle, he noticed a golden wagon being pulled by a Hippogriff parked outside.
It looked very luxurious which meant that whoever his sister came with, is not an ordinary person.
He took his time to appraise the beast which he was seeing for the first time.
The other party gave him a weird look as if asking "what's up countryside bumpkin? You want to be my dinner".
Lucian who didn't notice this look pitied the creature who was being chained to the giant moving house. He glanced at the two coaches of the wagon before heading for the entrance to the castle.
Hippogriffs were very rare creatures and to add to that, they were not natives of the western continent and a few people could see or come this close to Hippogriffs in their lifetime. Since Lucian wasn't stupid, he realized whoever his sister came with was not an ordinary person.
When Lucian opened the door, he came face to face with two pretty ladies he hasn't seen before.
One of them was about his age and the other a little older than him. Two older women dressed in expensive clothing and a man who seemed to the same age as his uncle Micheal sat beside them.
On the other side was his aunt Anna and uncle Micheal. Although the two older ladies were pretty, they paled in comparison to the lady who sat beside his uncle.
He turned to his grandpa who made a head gesture for him to come sit beside him.
