Robin's POV [2:35 PM]
I wake up with Reina laying next to me, arm wrapped around my waist and straddling one leg. We had sex and I admit, she is good. She was definitely right about that, and I have to admit, it has been way too long since I've had sex, so I'd say today is a pretty damn good day. Its probably mid-afternoon at the latest but In any case, quite frankly, I don't think I'm going anywhere soon. Reina is still asleep.
"Reina.. I need to at call Nami." I say gently when she stirs as I try to turn and reach the den den without waking her and failing. She makes her unhappiness clear but moves to let me. I giggle slightly, finding it cute and she smirks slightly.
I dial Nami and she picks up pretty quickly, "Nami? Hello?" I ask and she answers, "Hello? Robin? Heyyy, got any news for me?" she asks, "mm, nothing outside of what I already heard. Just be careful, there could be some bounty hunters or government agents around." I say. "Alright, I will, you too." she says. Reina smirks "I think she knows that pretty well Robin." She says quietly and I smirk too. " Well, I think you know that by now probably." I add "What?" She asks confused. "Your cute friend with the sword?" I say and I can hear Nami blush, "What?! No! Its complicated!" She says. Me and Reina both laugh quietly at that. "Whatever you say navigator-san. Take care." I say and she mumbles a "you too." and hangs up and me and Reina both collapse in laughter "I COULD HEAR HER BLUSH" Reina says, laughing, "I didn't know you could audibly blush til today" I say giggling.
Soon after that, we finally got out of bed, though the memory Reina's touches almost convinced me not to. "God, what is happening to me?" I think to myself. We leave the room fully dressed about 15 minutes after getting out of bed.
Once we leave, we say farewell in the lobby after some more time. I definitely need to find more hookups to meet my needs. Though, I doubt we will ever have a calm restocking island ever. Seems very un-Strawhat like.to not leave without causing a revolution or mass chaos.
To take my mind off of Reina, because I know I can feel myself looking when I walk down the street, I go to the library and get some romance books. Its a little counterproductive but whatever, I don't get this chance very often.
[1 hour and 18 minutes later: 5:30 PM]
I was happily reading my book, "Please, just kiss him already." i thought to myself as the book reached peak tension. As I was getting there, I was interrupted by a loud BOOM, not too far away. I glance up and go to the window to see. By where the eastern docks and the harbor masters station was, is a massive fire, the whole building in flame. I suppose that's what the explosion was. I soon gather my things and check my books out. This was to be expected of course, chaos follows us like a curse. I go to investigate and begin looking for any sign of the cause. I soon find the harbor master, unconscious but unharmed as his desk protected him. I kick down the burning wall and drag him out. I should find chopper or a doctor, he has had a lot of smoke which isn't good. Soon people come to see what happened and he gets taken by the firefighter so I decide its time to meetup with the others. On the way, I meet Brook and Luffy, Brook being dragged against his will. Luffy sees me and forgets about Brook momentarily "ROBIN! THERE WAS A BIG EXPLOSION!" he says, I smile gently. "Yes, I already checked it out. I think it was a remote bomb of some kind." I say and Luffy has stars in his eyes and Brook looks.. Tired. Supervising Luffy does that to ones soul. "Can we go see it? Pleaseee?" Luffy asks. Brook doesn't have any energy left to deal with him clearly so I smile. "No, we should head back to the ship before something happens." I say and Luffy pouts, Brook looks saved and we begin heading toward the ship.
On the way back, there is another explosion in the distance. Me and Brook both grab Luffy, holding him back but realize we might as well check it out so we go toward it. As we approach there is more explosions in another area and Luffy gets distracted by the new one and runs towards it. Brook and I chase after him "Luffy-sannn! We need to go back to the ship!" Brook shouts. On the way, Luffy bump into Nami, carrying a ton of bags and they go flying. "NAMI!" Luffy says happily. Nami looks distressed and glances back and calms and then bonks Luffy, "You Idiot! That's new stuff!" she says and picks up her bags. "Nami, do you know what's happening?" I ask, watching her closely. "I-I don't know." she says truthfully. "There were these robots and this guy-" she begins. Luffy has stars in his eyes, "ROBOTS?!" He asks and I shush him, "let her explain, we need to figure out what's happening." I tell him, "A-anyway, they attacked and I think they want me for some reason." She explains. Now, I respect Nami as a crewmate and a close friend but I don't know why they would want her specifically. Leverage perhaps? Why Nami?
"What happened to the girl from earlier?" I ask. Nami blushes, "How do you know about that-" I smile mysteriously, "I have my ways." I say mysteriously, hiding my amusement. Nami's blush deepens but she explains "She fought both robots and the man, and held them off long enough for me to run.. I don't know what happened after, I hope she's ok.." she says. "She'll be ok." I say reassuringly though I know that there's a high chance something could've happened in that time. I really hope I'm right but I'm not stupid.
"We should meet with the others at the ship. Especially if their after us." I say and Luffy nods, "We have to make sure the others don't get caught either." he says and Brook nods, "I will go find Zoro, you three head back to the ship and meet the others there." I say and Brook nods, "we should get ready for a quick escape once the others get there," he says and they nod and with that, they head off towards the dock.
I guess its time to find the Lost Swordsman of the Straw Hats.
