Gigi's POV [6:40PM]
I wake up feeling pain in my side. Shit, it hurts. There's only so much a chain-mail can protect you I guess. I start to get up slowly, wincing at the pain when I hear a voice, "I wouldn't do that if I were you." a woman says. I glance in the direction and see a beautiful woman, older than me by only a few years probably and long, sky blue hair. I glance at my bandage then at her, "You patched me up?" I ask. "Well, I did the best I could. I'm no doctor" she says. "Well thanks." I say. She smiles, "No problem." she says.
I look around some more as I become more aware.I see the man is still there and the robot is there too... split cleanly in half down the middle. "Did you do that?" I ask incredulously. How? That robot was strong. She shrugs, "I got here because I heard a explosion." she explains. "I arrived around the time you went out. That robot put up a good fight. I didn't expect it to be that good, your pretty good to have lasted for as long as you did against it." She says. "Thanks, you're pretty strong then." I say, still in awe. she smiles "Thanks, but I do have to ask, where did you buy that chain-mail? I think i'll buy one, I think it saved your life." She asks. I shrug, "I got it as a gift." I say, "if I had extra, I'd give you it but.. I pack pretty light." I say gesturing at what I have. She laughs a little, "well them. we should go shopping!" she says. "I can't." I tell her. She smirks, "Got somewhere to be?" she asks "You can barely stand up." she says. "Well... I don't mean to be a burden but could you help me then?.." I ask and she smiles and comes over. "here.." she says helping me stand. I wince but try to not show it. She sees it and holds me a little tighter, protectively. "Where to?" she asks. "do you know where the Straw Hats are?" I ask. She raises an eyebrow, "Why do you need to know that? you can barely stand isn't a great idea." she says, "no, no. i'm doing a job for one of them." I say. "The cute orange haired one?" she asks and its my turn to raise a brow, "You know her?" I ask. She smirks. "No, not her specifically. But I guess we both have reasons to go find the Straw Hats." she says mysteriously. I raise a brow but don't ask.
"They're at the docks I think. I believe they're planning to head out soon." she says. "Shit." I curse mentally. Artigo gives me a map and we have a ways to go. It gives me the fastest route so I tell the woman which way to go as we walk. "You know the area well. You from here?" she asks, "Nah, I went this way before on my way to the market." I lie. She nods, believing that and we continue walking.
"I didn't catch your name." I say. "I'm Gigi, nice to meet you officially." I tell her. She looks at me with a slight smirk, "Reina, pleasure to officially meet you too I suppose." she says.
We soon arrive at the dock and I remove my arm from around Reina. "Which one is their ship?" i ask. She shrugs, "You sure you're good to walk?" she asks. I nod but she still watches me to make sure. "I'm pretty sure its the one with the lion figurehead.." she says and one of the ships sails unfurl and I recognize the straw hats symbol from the news. " Well there they are," she says and I laugh slightly. "That makes it easier. C'mon," I say gesturing as I walk the fastest I can towards it. Reina appears beside me as we stand before it. Its BIG, with a large deck and tall. I've only heard rumors about this ship. I've heard it can fly, has an AQUARIUM, and the lion figurehead. Why one needs an aquarium on a pirate ship is beyond me but damn. This is where Nami lived? Here I thought she was poor with that way she haggled.
"Damn. Its.. big." Reina says, speaking what I'm thinking. I nod. "Should we go up?" I ask, feeling slightly intimidated. "Its what we came for.." She says with a shrug but looks equally intimidated. This is the ship of Straw Hats. The very same straw hats that make the news every other week.
"Fuck it" I think and I follow Reina up the gangplank. Here we go...
