"Am I dreaming or what? This place seems so enchanting, what are we waiti—," y/n said before someone took her arm and led her to a secluded spot.
"Hey, watch it!" "I apologize y/n, but I need a private spot to discuss something with you." "Namjoon? What's going on? Are you here to keep hurling more insults at me for your own satisfaction? I really need to get back before Suga gets anxious about my absence."
"No, I'm not here to hurl you more hate; I'm here to formally apologize for the hate you've faced over the last 6 years. I'm willing to kneel if that's what it takes for you to accept my apology. I deeply regret all the hurt I've caused you, from the relentless bullying to the cruel things I've said. I cannot imagine how tough it must have been for you to go through all of that. Please allow me to make things right and demonstrate that I genuinely regret my behavior. I want to reconcile, and I hope we can start fresh from this point onward."
"This day is becoming better and better, Namjoon. You know, after 6 years, I have been hoping to hear that genuine apology from you, and now you have the courage to admit what you did to me. I accept your apology, Namjoon, but please get up from the ground before you dirty your uniform."
Namjoon gets up from the floor and reaches out his hand, waiting for y/n to shake it, while he notices Suga searching for her out of the corner of his eye.
Y/n shakes Namjoon's hand, and they agree to start being friendly with each other.
Suga spots Namjoon and y/n shaking hands and quickly hurries over to them.
"There you are! I've been searching for you. Come on, let's catch up with the others, and Namjoon, you should come too," Suga said, taking y/n's hand from Namjoon and leading her to the group while Namjoon pauses for a moment before following them.
"Great, everyone is here; let us get started on the plan. Since we have 8 people, we'll divide into 2 groups of 4. I already have the 2 groups and the 4 members figured out, and we'll rotate so that each person gets a chance to be with either me or y/n," Taehyung explained.
The first group included Taehyung, Jungkook, Jin, and Suga.
The second group included y/n, J-Hope, Jimin, and Namjoon.
"Taehyung, you know I struggle with intense rides," J-Hope stated, nervously. "I know you do; that's why you're in the second group with the less experienced members," Taehyung replied.
"Excuse me? Are you saying we're weak? I'm in the middle; I do get scared on intense rides, but I enjoy them," y/n said, feeling offended. "But we all know that when you get on an intense ride, you back out immediately," Namjoon said, laughing heartily.
The two groups eventually agreed on the second plan, which was to gather everyone here before the fireworks show.
They then split up, while the first group began to have second thoughts.
"Are you really sure J-Hope and y/n can manage this? We all remember what happened last time with J-Hope; he fainted while y/n had a little mishap," Jin explained. "I'm quite sure I trust y/n and J-Hope; even if they're the weakest, they'll figure it out. Maybe y/n can be J-Hope's savior on the thrilling rides," Jungkook replied.
The four of them chose not to think about it and instead ride the thrilling coasters like Gyro Drop, Gyro Swing, Gyro Spin, Atlantis, the Comet Express, the Conquistador, Flume Ride, Fly Venture, and the French Revolution.
At the same time, y/n and her group were figuring out which ride to try first.
"So guys, which ride should we start with?" y/n asked. "Well, you know I don't like intense rides, but since we're all together today, I want to give one a shot," J-Hope said, feeling a bit cheerful. "That is the spirit. Of course, we won't make you ride it; it's totally up to you if you want to leave the line or stick it out until the end," Namjoon replied.
"Namjoon is correct. No one will make you go on a thrilling ride. But if you feel your body shivering with terror, please let us know before we go into the queue," Jimin urged. "Alright, thank you, Jimin and Namjoon. I think we can begin with the drunken basket, the adventures of Sinbad, or the Camelot carousel. I prefer to take it easy at first before I choose to join you on the thrilling rides or just relax and wait," J-Hope proposed. "That seems like a solid plan. I suggest we kick things off with the adventures of Sinbad," y/n replied.
They all speed-walk to the attraction, which had a 10-minute wait. The line moved quickly, and before they knew it, they were at the front of the ride.
As they were getting on, y/n heard murmuring. She turned around to see where they were coming from and noticed a bunch of girls shivering anxiously.
Y/n gave them a puzzled look, and she simply brushed it off.
Namjoon noticed this too and gave the group of girls a cruel smile, suspecting they were sasaengs.
Namjoon turned and noticed y/n minding her own business as if nothing was wrong.
J-Hope and Jimin, unaware of what had just happened, were quite thrilled.
The ride continued smoothly, and J-Hope wore the biggest smile he had ever shown.
"That was enjoyable. Hold on—I need to use the restroom; I'll be back soon," J-Hope said as he headed off to find the nearest restroom. "It's weird to see J-Hope smiling like that, but I'm delighted he had fun just like I did. I feel ready to tackle the French Revolution ride next. How about you two? Would you like to join me?" Jimin said confidently.
"I recall that ride; that's where I had that little accident," y/n said, feeling quite embarrassed. "But now that I've changed, maybe I'll give it another shot." "I'll join as well since it's been a while since I last rode it."
The three of them were discussing who sits with whom because the trip only allows two persons per seat and whether J-Hope would be fine riding with them or sitting down.
After J-Hope exited the restroom, a group of girls approached him.
"Hello J-Hope, it's unusual to see you here at Lotte World. I notice y/n is with you, but I don't see the other members," one fan commented. "We ended up dividing into two groups; the first group is seen as the strongest, while the second group is viewed as the weakest because, you know, half of the members avoid intense rides," chuckled J-Hope.
"Additionally, you're not here to express negativity towards y/n, right?" "Negativity towards y/n? Absolutely not; we're not here to hate on her; we're more like classmates." I think she didn't recognize us in line since she looked confused, but Namjoon shot us a dirty look. Why? She's been facing hate from what happened six years ago," another fan remembered.
"Whenever we're in public, she gets dirty looks from people, which is why she has gained haters everywhere. Would you like to say hello to her?" J-Hope inquired. "Uh, sure," the third fan replied tentatively.
The group of girls followed J-Hope to where y/n, Jimin, and Namjoon were standing.
J-Hope mentioned to y/n that he ran into her schoolmates after leaving the restroom.
Y/n turned around and was shocked to see her schoolmates. She began to apologize for looking confused in line, while her schoolmates whispered that Namjoon had given them a dirty look.
Y/n explained that Namjoon probably mistook them for sasaengs since they could be anywhere.
Her schoolmates then asked y/n for a picture, and she agreed.
They stepped back about 5 inches to take the photos, and y/n thanked them before they all went their separate ways.
"So, do you guys want to ride the French Revolution next?" J-Hope asked. "Yeah, the three of us decided to ride it, but it's up to you if you want to join us or sit this one out," Jimin replied. "I can try it; I just don't like heights, especially that gyro drop. No way, that's too high," J-Hope said.
The four of them then walked towards the attraction to get in line, where they accidentally ran into the first group.
