During the line, the first group was surprised to see the second group.
"Are you four going to ride this attraction? Did J-Hope finally agree to ride it?" asked Taehyung. "He did, but J-Hope can back out if he starts to feel scared," replied y/n. "Have you all figured out who will sit with whom?" inquired Suga.
"Actually, I'm going to sit with J-Hope, and Jimin and Namjoon will go together. I'm not sure if you four have made your decisions too," y/n said quickly. "Technically, it was about deciding who would sit with whom, but it looks like Jungkook will sit with Suga, and I will sit with Jin," Taehyung quickly replied.
The line went a little slower because the wait time was 30 minutes.
Y/n approached J-Hope and wondered if he was feeling scared.
J-Hope admitted to y/n that he was a bit scared, but since she would be sitting with him, he felt more at ease.
"If you feel scared during the ride, you can hold my hand. What I usually do is either scream or sing along to a song." "Do I need to get Suga's permission to hold your hand?" "Well, we're just holding hands as friends. I've noticed my classmates hold hands during scary rides because they get frightened. Plus, Suga wouldn't mind it."
They arrived at the front of the ride, and all 8 of them took their seats.
Jungkook and Suga sat in front, followed by Jimin and Namjoon, then Taehyung and Jin, and finally J-Hope and y/n.
Y/n turned around one final time and asked J-Hope if he was feeling scared. To her astonishment, J-Hope wore a smile. She couldn't tell if it was a joyful smile, a phony one, or a frightening one.
As the ride began, the only sound was J-Hope singing loudly while holding onto y/n's left hand, as y/n screamed with joy.
When the ride finished, all six members clapped, and y/n gave a small clap, but J-Hope continued to hold onto y/n's left hand.
"Hey buddy, the ride is done, you can release my girlfriend's hand," Suga said. "J-Hope, are you alright?" Jimin asked.
J-Hope opened his eyes, released y/n's left hand, and apologized for squeezing it too tight during the ride.
"Yes, I'm fine—I'm just hungry, let's go get something to eat," J-Hope said as he stood up from his seat and walked anxiously.
Everyone began leaving the ride to meet J-Hope where he stood.
"Are you okay, sweetheart? Did J-Hope hold your left hand too tightly?" Suga asked, concerned. "It doesn't hurt. Besides, I was the one who told J-Hope to hold my hand if he felt scared; there was something about the smile he gave me that sent chills down my spine. I can't tell if that smile was happy, fake, or creepy, but who knows," y/n replied.
The two groups came together again and were talking about where to eat.
"I think we should all eat together at Orge's Kitchen (Sinchai), and then we can decide on dessert afterward," Jungkook suggested. "Sounds great!" everyone agreed.
They started walking over there, not expecting it to be crowded.
"When was the last time this place was so busy? I don't recall it being this full when I visited for a school field trip," y/n said, at a loss for words.
The entire group managed to secure a table and started placing their orders from right to left, beginning with Jin, Namjoon, Jungkook, J-Hope, Taehyung, Jimin, Suga, and y/n.
Suga and y/n chose Jjamppong; Namjoon, Taehyung, and Jungkook ordered Jajangmyeon; while Jin, Jimin, and J-Hope went for tangsuyuk.
After they finished ordering, each member engaged in conversation to pass the time, except for y/n, who needed to go outside for a moment.
Suga and Jin were concerned about her; they both got up, leaving their members in shock.
"Why are you getting up, Jin?" "I could ask you the same thing, Suga: why are you getting up?" "I'm going to check on my girlfriend," Suga said firmly. "Well, I'm heading to the restroom, excuse me," Jin replied, concealing his true intention.
Jin walked towards the restroom while Suga went to see y/n.
"That's strange, I thought Jin was going to check on y/n too," Jimin whispered to Taehyung. "They both stood up at the same moment when y/n left the table, and it looked like there was going to be a big argument between them. I'm pretty sure Jin lied about going to the restroom," Taehyung whispered back to Jimin.
Suga asks y/n if there's something wrong, and y/n plays him an audio clip of her voice with Jin and a fan at the convenience store from yesterday; her whole school is talking about the leak. He reassures her that by tomorrow, everyone will have forgotten it, but y/n couldn't maintain a cheerful smile any longer.
Suga then kissed her on the cheek, telling her not to worry about it. He took y/n's hand and led her back into the restaurant, where their food was already waiting and Jin had just arrived shortly before them.
Everyone began to enjoy their delicious food, clean themselves up, and go for a pastry or dessert that caught their attention.
As Suga had promised y/n earlier, he made an effort to purchase her churros to make her happy, while also getting churros for himself.
Meanwhile, Jungkook and Taehyung chose slushies, while the other four members opted for ice cream.
"I won't be long; I'm just going to grab some napkins," Suga said, holding his churros as he looked for more napkins. "Hey, y/n, are you alright? We noticed you weren't smiling anymore," J-Hope remarked.
"Honestly, I'm doing my best to feel happy again like I used to, but after receiving a message from my classmates about an audio clip that was leaked featuring my voice, Jin's, and a fan we met at a convenience store, I just felt crushed," y/n said, trying to hold back her tears.
"That's terrible to hear. Who would even think of leaking something like this? Don't worry, y/n, I'll find out who's responsible for this audio leak," Jungkook said confidently. "Thank you, Jungkook, but won't this cause you problems?" y/n asked, concerned.
Suga returned with more napkins for everyone, and they finished eating before starting to walk around to help digest their food.
Once they were done with their dessert, y/n did her best to avoid thinking about the audio clip and wanted to enjoy her exciting day without any negative thoughts. That didn't stop her from receiving stares every time they strolled past an attraction or stopped at a restroom.
Suga saw this and chose to shield y/n's eyes to prevent her from seeing the glares.
The queues for the other attractions were quite lengthy but moved quickly.
The whole group rode French Revolution together, while the first group had already experienced Atlantis.
The second group chose to ride Atlantis as J-Hope waited behind.
Taehyung suggested merging the two groups at the end after they found out what was going on with y/n, so they could shield her from any negativity.
Y/n and J-Hope took a seat for the Gyro swing and drop while the rest of the members enjoyed the ride.
After that, J-Hope joined the members and y/n on the flume ride. He took a break for the other rides, including Fly Venture, Gyro Spin, the Comet Express, and the Conquistador, while the others enjoyed those rides.
With two hours left before the fireworks began, they chose to go on the more relaxing rides with J-Hope, like the Camelot Carousel and Drunken Basket. They had a great time in the last hours before the fireworks display.
The amusement park announced that: the fireworks show will begin in a few minutes; please proceed to the designated area.
Everyone in the park, including the members and y/n, made their way to the fireworks display. They all stood together, watching the fireworks illuminate the sky. It was the perfect way to conclude a magical night.
Namjoon got a message from the male staff saying they were back at the same parking spot they had used hours before for pickup.
As the final firework burst into a splash of color, Namjoon smiled at y/n, realizing their time at the amusement park had been filled with laughter and happiness.
They walked back to the parking spot together as one big group, feeling thankful for the memories they had made together.
